FS#7892 - Death Realm exit comes out in the middle of nowhere
This has got to be a bug, and not intentional. Bad enough for me, but for new players winding up in the middle of nowhere overburdened, with no paths, no signpost, no mount to get anywhere fast, and most directions leading to impassable mountains, with many inescapable holes.
If you get lucky you can find a path after a bit of a ride, and follow it for miles, ending up by more impassable mountains and inescapable holes. Took long enough following this path on a mount, and it’s a red herring anyway.

Can you elaborate more what happens?
When you die the game stores the sector (area) where you died, and when you exit from the death realm, it will bring to a a defined location which is in that area (not exactly where you died). We call it "safe location" for that map. Every map has a safe location.
It's possible that you died in the largewest sector, which is quite big, and only has one safe location.
It was in largewest, yes - I visited Emerald Lake. I guess it's not as bad if you only end up there if you die there, but there are quite a few inescapable holes in that area, hence why I used /die. Just need signposts and paths that go somewhere really. Is a long ride just to find a path, and some of them just end in the middle of nowhere too. Maybe even coming out in a village like Araloth might be nice, especially if it could get Pterosaur later.
