FS#1674 - Smelt metal products
I would like it if pure metal products could be smelted into molten metal. I am thinking particularly to heated, super-heated and red-hot ingots/stock but do not wish it to be limited to these items. I think that the current process of hammering super heated blades into stocks is conceptually wrong and that this would likely be normally accomplished by throwing the item into the furnace and melting it down completely. The more you work metal the more likely metal fatigue will occur.

parts can be melted down but whole items
like short swords, would encourage
people just to buy from NPC then melt
rather than mine or buuy ore.
Setting new for a developer to decide on.
Personally I’m not a fan of the ability to revert to raw materials by hammering either, but we need to think through the progression a bit before such a change is rolled in.
