FS#1759 - Button next to "My searches" that will list all tickets opened by or assigned to me.
The way it works now:
N/A
The way it should work:
Quick button next to name or current “My searches” that will do a preprogrammed search for all tickets either opened by me or assigned to me.
Steps to reproduce:
N/A
I would change 'the way it should work' to 'the way you want it' :). I am pretty happy with searches under 'My searches' such as tasks assigned to me, and tasks I watch (which for me is all tasks I open, am assigned to, or commented on). So your request is for combining the existing 'tasks I reported' and 'tasks assigned to myself' and have it under a separate button, that would annoy other people (such as me) who do not like more buttons. Further, this is something flyspray should implement, and we are already a few versions behind (due to other problems :) ).
Just so you do not get your hopes up to much :)
Setting new, as it is a feature request.
I am using a standard boilerplate bug reporting template, so the report is from my perspective on how I believe it should work. I am trying to bring a little consistency and as much detail as possible to the reports here. The whole lead by example thing…
I understand this is a flyspray issue, and that it may or may not get implemented… but if you don't ask the question…
it is very easy to add searches to your list, by using the "save search as" feature
I am trying to do that, but I keep getting a 404 error when clicking on "My searches".
Also, I am submitting this as a Feature Request, not as a bug. This is something I would desire, even if you would not. If enough people agree that it is something desirable, then maybe it will get implemented… soon(TM).
Nothing wrong with asking. I was just warning that this may take much longer than Soon TM :)
Actually I tried to make a search that returned tasks either "Opened by me" -OR- "Assigned to me" but it returned nothing, so it was probably doing an AND search instead. So just to be able to do such a search would be a feature request in itself.
