FS#2241 - effects per race

It would be really nice if you could specify different spell effects per each ingame race [casters race] in the effect file. It does not really make sense that anyone with the spell can cast and have the same effect show up, as each race is different and also as lvl increase the spell effects could change.

Magic is not race specific, magic is powered by the symbols/marks created by Talad, stored in the Glyphs. There isn't any reason why the magic shouldn't be different for each race.

given that the races are not the same size some effects dont look correct on them due to them being larger or smaller then the race that was used to make the effect, having effects per race could fix this.

Sure, they could either be modified to look good per race, or the effects system could be made more intelligent to take race sizes into account. Of course there's no need to make each race have really different magic in itself.
