FS#2520 - GM accounts need to hold more than 4 characters
GMs and devs often use alternative characters for events and working unrecognized ingame. The only bad workaround right now is to make new accounts and deputize. This means unnecessary intransparency in logs and communication.
The request includes removing the limit (or extending to a high number) of allowed characters for accounts with sec lvl > 0 and provide access to the characters via the client GUI.
Talad has stated previously that the limit will not be changed for players.

Seeing as you can only login with one character per account at a time I wonder if it might not be more useful to be able to manipulate name/race prior to login, although it seems to me that should already be possible after login. Do you really need static characters? Perhaps some kind of template character builder would be suitable, you would then have an option of running the main GM character, one of two other static characters and the fourth character slot would accept locally saved characteristics that could be passed around to other GM's as needed. This character slot would also allow complete customization at login with the specific details saved in a temporary database entry on a sessional basis. The locally saved data could be loaded instead of customization.
