i.e /teleport me r 1

The task blocks this from closing

Reason for closing:  Will not fix

then why not use slide instead?

There are several reasons and If slide was suitable I wouldn't have made a feature request.

Marking new, but curious what is the difference between slide and teleport in this case. For example, if I would make a patch that implements this by translating it to a slide command, your feature request would be fulfilled. What more is there to it? :)

One reason is it breaks target lock ie. if you are targeted by another then /teleport me l 0.5 will break target and also move sideways more of a dodge action than a slide

Caarrie commented on 04.02.2009 22:21

so then the /slide should be fixed for the target lock instead of moving the command to /teleport

So you want the slide result, but without showing the char move in between, and make you loose target? And slide should show the char move in between, and not loose target?

John commented on 05.02.2009 18:21

I want to be able to lose target lock, but slide would be better to keep the target lock as it makes sliding by increments easy
