FS#3685 - OK, OK, OK.... abbreviations everywhere

In the NPC dialogs, there are several instances of modern-day abbreviations like "OK", "info" or "wow" (may be acceptable) being used. For example, in Fruntar's "Schaeminare soap" quest you can respond with "OK, where do I get this soap." (should be a question mark there, too). Also, in "A wife's dilemma", you can say to Tilavi "Ok, what kind of deal?". Maybe one could run a database search for "OK", "Ok", etc. on the NPC/quest responses to find all occurences?

A particularily nasty one is, as I had to read just now, that Ukabnu actually says "menki" in her dialog for "An expected delivery".

We need a list of all quest that have these abbreviations.. We could file a bug report for each of them and list them here?

But that would clutter up the BT much more than the typo and dialog issues (which cannot be searched for automatedly), because there seems to be quite some proliferation of abbreviations, for reasons that escape me. Given that (I assume) you setting people already have all the quest- and NPC dialogs at hand and would only need to use your favourite text editor's search function, or at worst do a database query to get a complete list (whereas bug reports are bound to miss a lot because not all possible paths will be checked and reported, and also create a lot of overhead, including for you), I thought that would be a much preferred way to do it.

If you prefer bug reports, I will start to issue them. Since I probably have done a significant amount of the quests already, I could try to deduce the quest from my log files for those.

BTW, I will also report instances of "Okay", which is the same as the abbreviation, merely spelling out it's pronounciation so it looks like a proper word (maybe it even is considered a word now, but it certainly wasn't before the abbreviation became popular). My proposal therefore is to replace all occurences of OK in all it's variations with "Alright", "Fine", "Well", "Right(y)", "Good", "Great", or any other word that fits the meaning and is likely to have been used during medieval times as well.

Lanarel, any comments on how to do this?
Until it is all clear we can just make a list of those quest here (not file separate bugreports).

I would suggest to first define some policy about this, so we do not get new reports that we do not know what to do with. Using a single report to list different problems probably will result in a really messy list, where it is not clear what is fixed and what not. I suggest to make separate reports for each quest with such problems, and then add those as dependency to this report.

Well, as long as no decision about this has been reached, I'll only note that one of the generic "You're welcome" responses says "It's ok, I know what I'm doing". Apart from the fact that it says "OK", it is written in lowercase.

I must add to this that even newly created NPCs seem to occasionally get such nasties: the descriptions of Celila Yasoj and Gilata Meselir says they are "fenki"s. Granted, the descriptions of the Steel Bazaar NPCs aren't polished yet, but still.
