FS#3780 - Tutorial: Niggles on "Basics of Blacksmithing".
A collection of bugs and nitpicks I found in Naeve’s tutorial quest.
(I hope there are no doubles, the search function doesn’t like me, I can’t find some bugs which I know are there. :S)
1st quest stage:
- a typo: “Your <playername> right?” should read You’re / You are instead.
2nd stage: “How to use furnace”
- “Go to Options, Controls, Keys. /For mouse Ctrl-Click set the button next to context menu then save.” The context menu entry is under Options→Controls→Mouse, not keys.
- “Now you need to open your inventory with the icon found in the middle of the furnace window…” The icon is on the left-hand side in the present default gui.
- “Now, feel free to have a play, but don’t actually melt anything will you.” Why not? (If I remember right, in the old version, you even had to melt the ore and give it back to her.)
3rd stage: Mining. No niggles.
4th and last:
- typo: “Anyway, good luck with the crafting and dont forget to have fun!” should read “don’t”.
- On top of the rockpick (wich she mentions), Naeve also gives you 20 Octas without saying it.
