FS#3919 - Quest Audio & text speeds differ
in various quests, the speed at which the recorded audio and the presented text is presented differ.
I propose the following solution to this problem:
assume we have quest “TEST Quest” step 5, recorded as “TEST Quest Step 5.spx”
1) Break the recording into multiple files, Break it apart on “.” 2) call these new files “TEST Quest Step 5 -a.spx” “TEST Quest Step 5 -b.spx” “TEST Quest Step 5 -c.spx”, etc.
3) change the quest engine so that rather than just using the file name as presented “(TEST Quest Step5.spx)” so that it will automatically append the “-a” (or “-b”, etc.) for each sentence, so that each sentence’s recorded text plays with the appropriate displayed text.

We are thinking of scaling the text speed to be
total_time_of_audio / number_of_sentencs = time-displayed-per-sentence
Personally i like the idea however dividing straight out seems off, It should be weighted based on # of chars not sentence in my opinion
