FS#4601 - Various spells doesn't work after the update 17th july 2010
There are reports of spells that don’t have any effect anymore (neither on you or on enemies)
Known are
- meteor
- missile shower
- dazling light
- flame burst
just to make sure, you're just referring to the visual effect, not the actual effect (e.g. damage), aren't you?
No, the spells just give a message saying that they have "no effect." Also add Darkness to the list. Basically any spell with an Area of Effect greater than a single target is entirely broken.
My first thought was that this is a balance fix with the sledge hammer to encourage players for trying other hunting techniques.
I can't imagine they would do something that heavy handed.
Also, you can add Purification to the list of broken spells.
seems to be some build issue, not sure yet. at least all those spells work properly on ezpc while they don't on laanx even though they're the very same data-wise :/
This Bug Report is very important to get fixed , The players enjoy This kind of spells , and is rare that the spells works properly on ezpc
Not fixed yet. The spells are now single target only.
no, they aren't Michael. they just have their angle validated properly. see the explanation in PS#4609.
