FS#5551 - Version info in server status page
Could it be possible to add server version info (and possibly aso recommended/required minimal client version) to the server status page, i.e. to http://planeshift.zeroping.it/index.php?page=about_page for zeroping server? It could help to determine easily whether the update is required/recommended without need to start pslaunch when you don't use it to load the client.
It's always the last version released the only supported version.
Well, but the question is more about the version info (number) for people who have problems to run psclient from pslaunch and they need to run psclient directly, so they don't recognize there is new version for update. But I have always open (and periodically updated) the characters online status page in the browser and I don't think that I am the only one who is using psclient directly. Server status page would be fast way to check latest version and to decide whether to run pslaunch and update or not. I am often recognizing new versions about week after they are out (checking once a week) or when people talk about update in gossip.
