FS#5858 - add encapsulated "bookmark links" for the advisors

while speaking with an advisor eariler today he had instructed my to come to the bugtracker here, but had made a typo in the link pointing me to “http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/flypray” which I had cought and corrected before coming here. As it stands, I’m very familiar with FlySpray from working on other projects so the typo was trivial for me, but other players might not be so keen. I think an easy way of “fixing” the issue of typos for common resources would be to allow Advisors to have encapsulated snippets containing the links. a few examples would be;

(fs) would be replaced with http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray

(forums) would be replaced with http://www.planeshift.it/forums.html

(guide) would be point to http://www.planeshift.it/quickstart.html

Etc, Etc..

I don’t know exactly what languages the PlaneShift client/server uses, but if it uses Python this would be a fairly trivial addition.

Already possible right now…though only with a little bit of fiddling with the chat filter: http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=38330.0

Now that you mention that, something else comes to my mind. We have the ingame customisable feature of tab completion that you could use for the very same purpose without having to find and tamper with the configuration files themselves!

An entry like
"bug tracker (www.hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray)" would do the trick on typing bug<TAB>.

*giggles* Now that is some creative abuse of my addition..I like that. Never thought about using the extended tab compleation like this…but it should work well. I tested it back then with all kinds of words..and spaces and special characters work quite well. I'm just not sure now if it will work with the space after "bug " and if you press <tab> after you typed the space. Oh…and on a sidenote…when I added it there was no real unicode support for PS..so maybe someone could take a minute to see if it still works with unicode words.
