FS#6341 - Dark Rogue Bug

When one kills a Dark Rogue in the BD Mine after having it chase one down towards the main corridor they fall to the ground and then float away. Even after catching up with them one is informed that they are too far away to be looted.

The range seems to be when they are out of range to call for help.

I remember this glitch happened in earlier versions if a mob died while running (actually, a similar thing could be observed with yielding players, too, but that's another topic). If the glitch happens while you are hunting, try to go to the place where the NPC died and hit the loot button there. Only works if the NPC is targeted.

I see this also when the mob is running up or down a hill. It seems like their vertical position is taken from their location a bit before they die (or their x,y position is taken a bit after). If they're running down hill, they end up floating, and if they're running up hill, they can end up underground. A good place to see this is with the cutthroats along Ojaroad2. Killing them as they run down the hillside causes the bug.

Sometimes I can still loot them as they're floating if I get above them and jump so that I pass through their corpse and hit my loot shortcut as I fall.
