FS#6453 - wielding weapons in hydla

guard throw out of city polymorphed players, why not add the same when player wield weapon in city and guard see that?

Because players are allowed to hold weapons when crafting or selling and it would be impossible to get it to work. It is something we already thought about.

Maybe guards should throw away chars that *use* weapons or cast offensive spells?

One more thing: guards are roaring if my char have only bow (but not arrows) in hands - think it's somewhat strange, as [apprentice] staffs does not considered as a weapon!

its simple just check if Harn is nearbly…, or Jefectra partol Hydla away from Harnquist

Instead of going through this idiocy why not add a sheath command so that you can ACTUALLY SHEATH THE WEAPONS this allows you to keep the bonuses without annoying the guards. its really not that hard just derender the weapon and set a flag for the guards ai so they know its put away.

or you could just remove the guards warning altogether since its kinda pointless and stupid to ask a player to perform an action that is NOT INCLUDED IN THE GAME ENGINE

requesting that guards enforce a RP Rule that is impossible to adhere to without the addition of the proper animations and commands to support it is just down right idiotic. there are much more important things the developers can spend their precious time on than penalizing players for stupid stuff.

If we're going to have trepor warriors roaming the city, that guard trigger perhaps should be disabled, since the guards seem to ignore the trepors.

That's a bug Erodare that Eonwind will fix when he can.
