FS#714 - better way to list /quest results
When a gm issues /quest on a char it shows a good 1000 lines if they have done a lot of quests all in the chat window
The request is to pop up a new page when the /quest command is issued, to show selected Player’s questlist.
If possible maybe listing them in book format but still being able to have them logged as system messages
As many gms are using this command we are increasing severity and priority.

any additional fix to /quest is on hold. Please review the additional section on character page of gm site. It lists quests a player has and substeps with status.
well no tester has access to the gm web console to view this so kerol can we have your opinion on this?
With
FS#1706and the latest modification on the GM WC, I don’t know if this feature will be necessary. If we had to pick one, I’d say 1706 is more useful in combination with the huge /quest list and the WC logs.I think the /quest command will be deprecated in foreseeable future for complex quests. Current setup of GM WC and the future WC will make expensive ingame modifications not only not needed but also unwanted.
FS#1706is a good feature to check simple quests quickly, but for complex quests (which we will be getting a lot more) the WC should be used. PHP/html has the advantage of visualizing content a lot easier since there are already datamining tools we could use. If we were to implement windows and visualizing complex quests ingame we’d be reinventing the wheel.so kerol you think if you can just list one quest at a time, that you will not need this request as the chat box will be good enough to list and read the requested information?
I think /quest should stay like it is now and additionally can take a quest name as argument to limit the list to one quest if necessary.
For complex quests, the WC should be used.
