FS#7391 - Chat covered by shard UI in dryken plane.
Cannot use Chat in dryken plane as covered by Shards UI. I consider this to be a bug.
The dryken plane will be the very first thing new players will see (after the character creation) and it will be very disconcerting if no chat and no commands will work. You can not even ask for help in the help channel.
Actually chat is not technically disabled. I noticed that the chat window is usable when I move it to another position on screen. Somethings blocks the window from getting the input focus when it's placed at the bottom of the screen (I usually have it in the bottom-left corner of the screen).
The shards UI , present only in the Dryken plane, may be overlapping other windows.
I believe you are right. The chat window isn't focused from the bottom lines up to where the shards messages end. I guess it's a display window for the text which is in front of everything else.
With PSUnreal 0.7.22 and Full HD resolution I was able to access chat right away. However, on a smaller resolution, the shards UI may be overlapping other windows indeed.
Hmmm, I meant PSUnreal 0.7.23.
I changed the way the shard UI interacts with the player, should just be a pass through. Please retest in 0.7.26.
