FS#7779 - Unable to Harvest many items that aren't wood

It’s currently not possible to harvest many items in the areas where they spawn (I checked several spots on Ojaroad2 [clackerweed, threestem fruit, kingsfoil, dandelion). You just get the message “you don’t see a good place to harvest”. I tried looking around outside the spawn areas, but couldn’t find anywhere to harvest. You can harvest wood in the correct locations, but non-wood items appear to be broken. I’m not sure if the spawn areas are just mismatched with harvest area or if the harvest areas just don’t exist.

Bug  FS#7773  is potentially related to the above issue.

A few additional examples of this bug are listed below. It appears that it is rare to come across a place we can harvest. The only time it has worked for me was with oak wood (296450.72 -334448.75 11106.24).

add to this list pungent tuber, carrot, and I would suggest the harvesting mechanic is broken. even following the idea the harvesting area is completely different, there is no harvesting possible.

I changed the way gathering of resources works. Before there were items spawning like flowers, and in the same place you could also harvest for those flowers. This looked to me very weird, like you are making flowers out of nowhere. So now it's different.

There are places where items spawn (example flowers) and you can pick them up, and they respawn again in random range. you cannot /harvest in these places, you can only pick up what you see.

Then there are other places like mines and ponds (for fishes) where you can actually /dig or /fish. These places "generate" new items, like you will get a fish, even if you dont see it swimming, you will get a coal lump even if you only see the mine.

I think this way is more meaningful and realistic.

Probably, what we have to do is to place more spawnable now.
