FS#7922 - Trying to cast an attack spell via keyboard shortcut not possible
It is impossible to use keyboard shortcuts for magic attacks.
Steps to reproduce: Define a shortcut with an attack spell i.e. Stone Fist, assign a key to that shortcut, i.e. “Period” [.]
Trying to cast this way brings up a strange colourful, triangular progress bar, and the system returns “You cannot attack yourself” although an enemy has got a target focus.
Addition: This also holds for no-aggressive spells like Analyse Dweomer. Despite having an item targeted, the keyboard induced shortcut tries to target oneself.
EDIT: Every spell that can target the caster works via keyboard shortcut but always DOES target the caster when cast thus, no matter the visually rendered target focus. The behaviour of "typing" repectively clicking a shortcut is thus inherently different.
Partially fixed, although seems to ignore target if there is someone else too close. Seems to have broken targeting of friendly spells by spellbook, command and shortcut.
