FS#8180 - Quest Bug Harnquist is hungry quest
Harnquist is Hungry quest is bugged. What exactly happening is, when i take up the quest Harnquist(npc) says what he has to say before saying what exactly he wants. and that option where i say “i’ll help you out” or " i’ll go for it right now” as such (the exact dialog i don’t remember) after which Harnquist says what exactly he wants, so this option just does not come. The quest entry gets made in the Quest log/window but there is no way the next dialog option comes. So we can’t continue the quest.
Can't say I understand what exactly does not work according to your description, but I have just tested taking it up and that worked fine for me.
Are you sure you didn't miss the continue button (right-facing arrow) in your quest dialogue. Because if you skip something by not pressing that and continuing with your part of the dialogue, the respective quest log entries also don't show up.
I think a transcript of the quest dialogue from your logs should help clearing up, what exactly we are talking about. Could you maybe provide that in a comment?
When I wanted to finish the quest and hand in the required items the first time I failed with an empty quest dialogue: I clicked the dialogue option to hand in, then I got no text in return and no more options to click.
When I quit the quest dialogue I read "Harnquist ignores you" in my main/system chat.
A second try showed me the hand-in option a second time and this time it worked without problem. It's the first time I have encountered such behaviour and I am not quite sure what to make of it,
So my experience - the quest is not broken. But it's behvaiour was bumpy on hand-in. Whether that has to do with this particular quest or whether it is a general issue I cannot tell.
