(22:46:24) Brado says: This was no ordinary dagger. This dagger was passed down through many generations of chiefs. They said the dagger’s hilt is encrusted with diamonds and rare opales. I never did see it, but from the way the chief described the dagger, it must have been a sight to see.
I believe that the word “opales” should be “opals”.

Task Description
WARNING: This will contain spoilers, as it cannot be described without quest details.
During this quest when you Kisatol gives you the numeric riddle from Ukabnu, it has a different set of numbers than the ones that Kisatol recites just before handing you the paper.
I’m assuming the numbers on the paper are correct and his dialog simply needs to be changed, but I will leave that up to you, since I have not solved the quest yet. :)
Kisatol Gathoji says: ‘The Octarch instructs us on the laws. I: 6, 9, 20. III: 16 -Dozen- V: 2, 4, 16, 19, 21, 28 VI: 14, 20 IV: 2, 4.
The paper reads: ‘The Octarch instructs us on the laws. I: 6, 9, 20. III: 16 -Dozen- V: 2, 4, 16, 18, 21, 28 VI: 14, 20 IV: 2, 4.
(NOTE: The only difference is the number 18 versus 19 in the section ‘V’.

507 | Low | | 22.10.2007 | Dan | Andrew CraigSteven Schwartfeger | Hair color changing | | 25.10.2007 | No |
Task Description
I have posted this before, but thought it was a one-time oddity and so requested that bug report be closed. Since then my hair color has changed numerous times. I know it would be helpful if I could actually give you a sure way to reproduce this, but I have tried and tried and it only seems to happen when I am NOT trying to do it.
It has always happened when I have put on my helm, attacked some NPC and then later removed my helm. Logging out and back in always fixes the problem, so it is not a permanent DB change. The first time my hair ended up purple. Later it was red, then yellow and finally a light green.
Perhaps a dev could look into the code surrounding the equipping and removal of helms and see if there is some odd code that might cause this? Could it be related to the removal and adding back of hair in 0.3.020, when helms are put on and taken off?
I have encountered this with two different helms, and so I do not think it has anything to do with one over another.

474 | Low | | 17.10.2007 | Dan | Stacy | Quest: Toda's Armor Order | | 18.10.2007 | No |
Task Description
During this quest after Jirosh tells you to check with Trasok and Trasok then tells you to tell Jirosh that Harnquist will have his gloves, Jirosh only understands a very specific phrase. I would suggest expanding the phrases the Jirosh would understand at this point.
The dialog is below…I got a bit desperate with my attempts and finally had to ask around for the correct phrase “Harnquist has gloves”.
(16:42:30) Trasok Starhammer says: So I, ah, sent word to Harnquist in Hydlaa, asking that he make those gloves. Tell Jirosh that Harnquist will have his gloves… (16:42:32) -He pauses for a second and sighs quietly.- (16:42:34) Trasok Starhammer says: …and that I’m very sorry. (16:43:10) Jirosh Mikana says: Welcome to the Mikana Trading Company! Our specials right now are glyph sacks and mugs. Seize the bargains today! (16:43:18) Faldor says: Harnquist will have your gloves (16:43:20) Jirosh Mikana says: I didn’t catch your words, can you repeat? (16:43:26) Faldor says: Your gloves are not done (16:43:28) Jirosh Mikana says: I didn’t catch your words, can you repeat? (16:43:34) Faldor says: Trasok is not done (16:43:36) Jirosh Mikana says: I didn’t catch your words, can you repeat? (16:43:38) Faldor says: He is not done (16:43:40) Jirosh Mikana says: I didn’t catch your words, can you repeat? (16:43:42) Faldor says: He is not finished (16:43:44) Jirosh Mikana says: I didn’t catch your words, can you repeat? 470 | Low | | 17.10.2007 | Dan | | Minimum distances | | 17.10.2007 | No |
Task Description
I think that minimum distances need to be setup, or at least the graphics need to be changed. I was standing just outside the tunnel while heading toward the arena, and ran into a different bug. As I was messing with the distances for that bug, I noticed that if you set your minimum distance too low (non-adaptive), then you get parts of the arena disappearing.
http://img150.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot05ef1.jpg
While this is technically correct for what would happen, I don’t think it is the desired affect for this game. I’m not sure how to fix this exactly, but hopefully you will have some clue.
BTW, I had my distance set to 32 when I took the screenshot above, and you don’t get the same effect with adaptive distance (it shows correctly there).

469 | Low | | 17.10.2007 | Dan | | Graphical view changes drastically at entrance to arena | | 18.10.2007 | No |
Task Description
I was heading towards the arena, through the tunnel. I stopped at the very edge of the tunnel and started to look up towards the top of the arena and all of the sudden my view changed completely.
http://img150.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot04gl5.jpg
I appear to looking as if outside my body looking towards the arena from a distance. I can turn left and right ever so slightly, but if I turn too much, then the view changes back to the appropriate 3rd person view of the tunnel wall.
It appears to happen anytime I look just above 45 degrees from straight ahead. I am using an adaptive distance of 200, but changing that to a lower amount produces the same effect, only the arena starts disappearing (which is correct behaviour for a shorter minimum distance). Changing to non-adaptive distance does not help either.
Now once I move about a meter out from this point towards the arena, I no longer get this visual effect. At that point I am simple looking up the top of the arena as I should be.

Task Description
Ok, this is quite picky, but I think it makes sense. When you are attacking an NPC that does not where armor and you hit them on the head, it still says:
“You hit Rat on the helm for XX.XX damage!”
Well, the rat isn’t wearing a helm, so it would be more appropriate to say:
“You hit Rat on the head for XX.XX damage!”
Just like it says for hands, legs, torso, feet. I won’t go into the fact that rats don’t really have “hands” (more like paws or just feet).
Do what you wish with this. :D

Just a suggestion, I won’t be too offended if this doesn’t get expanded. ;)

Task Description
When sitting, I think it should be possible to greet someone without standing up. It is a bit awkward to be sitting, and then stand and wave at someone and sit back down. I’m not sure if it is hard to implement the “wave” action while sitting, but that is what I think the effect should be. Just sit and wave. If you don’t think that “/greet” is appropriate while sitting, then perhaps just implement a visual “/wave” that can work when standing or sitting, although the only difference between the two are the system message.

After Yonda gives the quest and you talk with Taemian, he gives you three options. I choose to carry the items back. When he tells me the weight and asks if I can carry that, he does not understand my response. The question is posed in such as way that a simple “Yes” should suffice. I tried many different answers, but all I got was Taemian saying things like “Can you rephrase that, please?” and “I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. Can you be more clear?”.
So unfortunately I am forced to take the second option for now, which requires another long round trip from the Eagle to Hydlaa and back.

Task Description
When running using autorun, this bug occurs quite often, although not every time. I will be running and nearing the end of my physical stamina. I will press ‘r’ to stop auto-running and my mana will continue to drain until it reaches zero. At that point my stamina will not start regerating automatically. I could sit there for several minutes and it would still be at zero. Once I move my character by turning left or right my stamina will start regenerating…starting at zero.
Like I said, unfortunately this does not happen everytime. Sometimes I get the appropriate “You are too exhausted to move.” message immediately and then my stamina regerates as it should. I have noticed the bug occuring quite often when I am on broad2, although I am not sure that it is tied to that map.
For what it is worth, Gallelive (in game character’s name) has confirmed that he has encountered this bug as well. Hope someone can track this down.
