When I drink Kingsfoil tea, the chat says I drink the tea and feel stronger, but when I open my stats my strength is not increased. When I made a petition, I asked if it was a bug or if it just hasn’t been implemented with Kingsfoil tea yet. Sarva replied that it looks like a bug that should be reported, so I am doing so now.

After doing the quest “May their words sound” (which gets you a Derghan Bell so you can communicate with the Derghir), I tried doing the next quest from Azarnith, which is “A Glimmering Meal”. However, for all intents and purposes it seems that this quest is identical to “May their words sound”. Azarnith sends me to Jardet, whose dialogue for “A Glimmering Meal” is the same as for “May their words sound”.

4883 Medium28.12.2010Kamara Client sometimes freezes when entering East Hydlaa from ...04.06.2020No14 Task Description

Sometimes, when I go from Main Hydlaa to East Hydlaa, the loading screen only loads a couple millimeters (if that), and then the client becomes unresponsive. No matter how long I wait, the loading bar doesn’t budge. I always have to quit the client in order to continue playing. This doesn’t happen every single time, but it happens often enough to be frustrating, and it only happens when I enter East Hydlaa from Main Hydlaa. This hasn’t happened to me anywhere else.

UPDATE:

I tried going into East Hydlaa on normal run instead of autorun, and for the first time in a while it loaded normally. It could be a coincidence. I’ll be trying autorun vs. normal run a few more times to see what happens. It could be that the East Hydlaa loading screen just doesn’t like autorun! XD

4623 Medium25.07.2010Kamara Allow progress from temporary characters to be transfer ...08.11.2022No3 Task Description

I recently had to create a new — and temporary — character because of trouble logging in with my original character. With this character I made a lot of progress in quests (and by extension gained some experience and money), and also made two friends. Since I intended this character to be temporary from the start, and have never intended to play using more than one character, I would prefer to be able to delete her without losing all that progress. It would be nice if we could transfer experience/money/friends/quests from temporary characters to our regular characters. It’s too much of a hassle to have to do these quests all over again on my original character.

 4611 Medium21.07.2010Kamara Can't load world following an in-game glitch 25.07.2010No5 Task Description

I started playing this game yesterday. As I was exploring an area, I encountered a bug (which has apparently happened to others as well) which caused me to fall through the “fabric” of the game. I tried to unstick, but couldn’t, and then the game tried to re-load the world, but the loading bar got stuck. So I quit the game and restarted it. Since the game restarts with your character in the same place they left off, I was still in the glitchy area, and the same thing started to happen; but this time, the game kept trying to reposition me (the main chat kept saying “Receiving out of bounds positional data, resetting your position”). It tried this several times, but was getting nowhere. So I quit the game again and tried to restart again. But I am now at a point where the client won’t load at all. I can login and get to the character page, but when I click “Join”, it goes to the loading screen, and perpetually says “Loading… Requesting connection”, and the loading bar does not move at all. This happens despite my character being repositioned (more than once) by a gm.

I can login fine with a new character. This problem only occurs with my first character. According to a gm I talked to, this indicates a problem with my character’s record, or something to that effect. I’m told another GM can fix that, when he’s available, but if anyone else is able to help, I would greatly appreciate it.

UPDATE:

The bug that led to this problem in the first place (that caused me to fall through the “fabric” of the game) occurred again as I was leaving Levrus’s magick shop. It seems that this bug happens at the end of the two roads in that forest — the one that leads to Eagle Bronze Doors, and the one that leads to Levrus.
