I’ve been experiencing some random crashes in the arena area in both Windows and Linux, pretty much since I started playing a month or so ago. The only similarities in the 2 PC’s I’m using is they both have ATI RadeonHD graphics, and they both have AMD 64 bit CPU’s. I was unable to replicate the problem consistently until now. My character was already in the arena area from a few previous crashes, so here all I did was log in and attempt to attack the rat close by, and on each attempt the client would crash and revert to the launcher window. This is the entire output when using the verbose output using the command pulseaudio –kill; pulseaudio –start; cd /opt/PlaneShift;./pslaunch -verbose »~/planeshiftlog.txt, which restarts pulse audio before the client loads, getting rid of those nasty audio glitches, and also dumps the console output to a file.
