My clan The Reaver Pack seems to be in an alliance, but actually isn't. It shows alliance 1075 is not found when clicked to disband or leave, but it will not allow us to join any other alliance.

hi, i can't login to my other account ("Golemur").
After starting the client and logging in, it loads the map then immediately crashes.
After trying out many things, mostly with GM help, i figure the problem is completely related to the character. So what happened?
The game worked just fine, as it has ever since for me. Yesterday night (GMT+1) i logged out for a while, on returning later my client just crashed a split second after login (map loads to 100% - crash).
It has done this for far too many times now - if it had feelings, i would probably hurt it now! Where? (if it matters?): Golemur was standing behind a house in east hydlaa, near the gate.
Why? - it was suggested, this could be related to a quest that was wiped during that time and which my character had active (if i had to guess it would be the derghir menace - :D ).

The steps so far:
* relocating by GM (several times, jayose,plaza,ojard,gugron,plaza)
* reinstalling graphics card drivers (nvidia 177.80)
* installing nvidia-cg version 2.1, overwriting libCg.so + libCgGL.so with the newer ones (still crash), then going back to the original ones.
* reinstalling client, psupdate CheckIntegrity etc.
* changes in psclient.cfg taken from forums on hydlaa.com related to C9999
* pssetup: setting graphics to minimum, disableing sound
* deleting -/.crystalspace

my system:
* athlon 64 x2 5000+, 4gb ram, geforce 9400gt
* ubuntu 8.10 64bit, kernel: 2.6.27-7,

Would it be possible to use the Server MoTD box (or something else) to send an emergency type message to individual players on log in?

Rock Armor - Rock Armour. In active magics tab it says Rock Armour but everywhere else Rock Armor.

I use two separate installs of PS one for my GM account and one for my Player account with obviously completely different shortcuts etc.

With SB v0.04.00 I can no longer do this as all player config data is stored in one file /home/john/.PlaneShift I suggest that config files are stored in account or even char specific folders/directories

Text message to be accepted as a guild member makes no sense. I was invited to a guild. The pop-up message says click accept . But i could only choose yes or no . I don't have the exact text to rephrase, as i can't reproduce being member of my guild. Anyway.. it's a small thing that has caught my attention.

edit by Lanarel: I removed unnecessary conversation, changed name of NPC to xxxxxxxx and text said to yyyyyy. Bug was closed by request of Hoki, reopened now by me to remove quest info. Also, it took me 11 months to finish this quest for possibly the same reason. In my case it appears that I walked away from Hinosseri before he said some final words (which with the delay takes a while), resulting in the quest not progressing. I must have said yyyyyyyy to xxxxxx 200 times, plus a thousand variations :). Ah well. Closing again.

Jomed says Reffitia will give an empty bottle but she does not and neither understand comments about empty bottle after that.

I have done the quest and it is a little unclear why she doesn't just give another bottle since she is trying to give them away in the preceding comments and as Jomed sends you to her when you return to him you get a standard npc dont know answer

just seems a little inconsistent and maybe the dialog needs looking at

We need an event close command to be able to close some events left open by ex GMs and blocking players from joining new events.

Either that or could someone close them manually via the db?

Bug with crystal way, we cannot see the crystal way at our skills window, the other thing is, if we target Lerok Delechi and say to him /tellnpc train he train one skill point and he is not a trainer for crystal way.

Originally reported to me by Netrhys and tested and confirmed several times myself, when under the DR penalty logging out or crashing the penalty disappears from the active magic window although remaining active.

On one occasion I have been unable to reproduce the penalty was canceled on log out/in

The system message telling one to update when running a new install needs to be changed so it only appears when the updater is working, the mirrors are up and an update is available.

My character name is Rinenud Ginat. My problem is with a book in my inventory ("Blank Book Of Rinenud"). I can still open the book and I can click on the Write On This Book button. I can also add further text into the book, but when I click the OK button and reopen the book, the changes are not saved. I have other books in my inventory and they work fine. I can open them, write in them and save the text. It is just this one book. Is this a solvable problem? Thank you for your time.

I'd like to make known that apparently the possibility to create a crafted shield from a shield handle and a small round shield shape is not possible. It seems that the use of the anvil with 13 stocks and a hammer yields a small shield shape (without the round) Is this just broken? or disabled on purpose? And… could someone fix it? Thanks for consideration…

non urgent. There is zinc sludge i can make no sense off. according to book it melts to bronze. there is copper sludge and bronze sludge to make bronze of. is zinc sludge just a leftover from previous versions of metalworking or is it really working (copper + zinc (+ tin) should combine to brass not bronze) Some people kept confusing tin and zinc as beeing part of bronze. I just want to know wether its a bug or not.

In the modify character description screen whenever information is typed into the screen it scrolls down with every keystroke past the point where the typed information is visible.

I have tested and can verify this if one has a description larger than the window editing will scroll one line for every keystroke

Could we have a Category Private that defaults to a setting of private for exlpoits, security bugs or anything that may require private/personal info

I bought yesterday 65 potions of mana, as soon as i open the furnace or the stock casting 1 potion disappears. I think it has got something to do with trading to, since then i lost also some of my manas. Yeach transaction with a container results in -1 on Mana. hehe

The tasks that are created by the reporters group should have status unconfirmed as for the other user groups instead of new.

The task details have been rewritten by Arianna in order to use it in a useful way.

I think I found a mistake in the Kran poetry quest..with Arion when he is asking for rymes and such…but on the last one with something that rymes with know, I said snow..and he wrote h-o-p-e-l-e-s-s b-e-l-o-w
