Task Description
Noriko has been doing a lot of quest testing lately, and has found a number of quests where quest notes should be added so that returning players (or those who don’t use their logs) can pick up where they left off. I’ll pass along what she’s put in the petitions to this report.

In each case, the quests notes are very good except when Mirra first gives the quest. The notes only include a generic line about helping Mirra be a better cook, and fail to mention where she’s sent you or what she wants.

Once the player gets the name Shian Sulkin it should probably be added to the quest notes, in case logs aren’t available.

Task Description
I’ve been doing some testing with the /morph command, and have not yet found a way to get it to work properly. I used my event character and every time I tried to morph into another race gender I had issues with the default Enkidukai texture remaining on the head. There were also other issues, like klyros wings being missing, and the fact that after the tests my enkidukai character now seem to have lemur textures on her hands permanently.
These are the results I got starting with a female enkidukai character, closing the game and loading fresh after each morph:

I few quick tests with a female dermorian character were better, but the head texture was always wrong.

Task Description
In some quests there is a delay before you can talk to an NPC again. One example of this is Its Gone Bad. In Legacy the players got a message like “You have to wait for 10 minutes before you can continue this quest.” so that they knew what was going on, but in PSU they don’t get the message.
Admittedly, the message is very OOC, but without it there’s no way for a player to know why they cannot proceed with the quest. If the messages cannot be restored, maybe a line of dialog from an NPC saying that they’ll have more to say later?

Task Description
The quest Right on the Mine uses a quest item named Hamel Provision and at one point it’s supposed to be given to Gardr. Currently that does not happen. The quest will progress, but the quest item remains stuck in the inventory. It can be placed into storage, but otherwise there’s no way to get rid of it.

Task Description
The Conclave of Glyphs faction does not seem to have been set properly when characters were imported from Legacy. In all characters I’ve checked, the faction is not even shown as discovered. I suspect the import script may have added the faction points to the wrong faction, most likely to Conclave of the Glyphs (the “the” isn’t needed).
Further, I noticed that while a few quests in the Conclave of Glyphs category assigned faction to the faction of that name, most gave the faction points to Conclave of the Glyphs. Specifically, the quests that are giving faction points to the wrong faction are:
Kimlorm Needs a New Prayer Book Murago Puntjal’s Quick Favour A Message for Dsar Sarraghi Little White Lies A Mysterious Disease Grimal’s Tribute to Talad A Dwarf’s Wish
The quest Something’s Brewing is placed in the Conclave of the Glyphs category, but gives faction points to Merchant Syndicates, which has the slight issue of not existing.

Task Description
Players who have done the Order of the Keen Edge quests do not seem to have their faction points calculated correctly. Players who have done the quests seem to have their faction listed as 0 (Ignored). I checked the quests, and no faction points are awarded by the quests, even though my logs show that faction points were given. Currently, the quests only give faction_level.

Task Description
A general problem with the quest menu system at the moment is the speed at menu disappear. The problem occurs in the following situation.
All the following is within one step in the following format.
Player gives NPC 1 item. Menu: text. NPC: text. Menu: No. Menu: Yes. NPC: text. NPC: text. Give 1 Melorick's Scroll Case. Assign Quest.
You give the npc the item. The initial npc text appears. Once they have finished talking the next two menus appear, but before you are able to click on the menus the menus vanish. This results in you losing the item needed to trigger the quest/step and are unable to repeat it. This was only became a problem with the introduction of the 'bubble' menu system.

It has been brought to my attention that friendly AoE spells can be used to detect invisible GMs who are within the range of the spell. For an example.
In the Catalog of shields book, ‘Bronze Spike’ becomes un-greyed and therefor visible as craftable when blacksmith hits 15. but you also need many levels in shield making before you can actually make the item. If I push Blacksmith to 200 and leave shield making at 0, according to the book I can make every item in there, despite that clearly being wrong.
The skill checks being made on the crafting books need to look at primary and secondary and as many skills are needed to make an item to correctly mark it as something you can make.

When you change button height font does not scale so you can end up with buttons with font cut in half.
Button width can be changed if it is set to manual or auto, you should only be able to change it when on manual.
Font - display for the current font should be taller and wider to show the whole font name. The position of the drop down menu could be moved up and menu size increased to avoid the need to scroll. Ideally the font choices should also use the font they are named after to make it easier to chose.
Health and mana - when you hide the bars you end up with a big block of empty space. It should be set such that this ‘dead space’ is removed as you find when you play wanting to click on something behind the space and finding you cant.
Text size - when altering size and font it does not change in real time. The minimum size is stupidly small, and having to relog each time to find a size that works is very hard. The minimum size should be 6 or 8 point.
I found that when adjusting button height, the width did not auto scale until I click on the ‘auto scale’ button AFTER adjusting the height.
I also set ‘text spacing’ to its lowest value and found the gap between the text and button edge to vary in certain buttons. In some it seemed to be 0 but others much larger. But they all increased when I increased the spacing size.
At certain button heights the ‘auto button width’ does not work as the text is cut off at the left and right edges. ‘one click’ taller or smaller and the problem can stay or go. This is with text spacing to its lowest value, which I expect many will use to keep ‘dead space’ to a minimum.

It seems there are now duplicate code checks for counting subsets, or duplicate displays of one counting. This option should really show “red apple (1/2)” and “red apple (2/2)”.
Also now, when you have 8 menus visible from many different quests the number shown is (1/8)-(8/7) so it is done on a total number of menus available, not on a by quest basis. For example, if you have 3 quests active and 8 steps the numbering could be (1/3)(2/3)(3/3), (1/2)(2/2), (1/3)(2/3)(3/3)

As the title suggests, when you change the button height with width set to ‘auto’ I would expect the button width to scale with it. It does not. If you change the width setting from auto→manual→auto the correct width is set.
Potentially related
It is possible that when names appear the window correctly resizes and the full name is shown. But when you move back to images only the width is set to the minimum so you end up with very tall very thin buttons. But the icons have the dimensions you would expect for button height set to max so you can only see the central portion of the icon.
I can make this happen by following these steps.
1 - Button height to minimum 2 - button width to manual (and moved to minimum) 3 - button width to auto 4 - set button height to max 5 - button/icon width is fixed and when you change name↔icon you get the broken display
If you don’t follow these steps the width for change between icons and names works correctly

Task Description
There are many time in quests and KAs when they have the same trigger, for example “about armor” or “about apples”.
When you click a quest menu (or type some text to an NPC) the first dialogue(s) to be searched should be quests and if a matching trigger is found the quest menu should be sent, then if nothing is found in a quest it should search KAs. What is currently happening when you have two or more matching triggers you are getting a random choice between the quest response and the KA response. This results in players getting what seems to be a response from the NPC but the quest does not continue.

I really like the sewers in Hydlaa, and I think it’d be cool if the other cities (Ojaveda and Amdeneir, mainly) had something like that. I also think it’d be cool if the Hydlaa sewers had a couple more openings, and maybe some intentional service entrances instead of just cave-ins with ladders… And maybe an entrance/exit in the East? Then my Rogue-like character could travel by sewers more, which would be totally awesome.
Are you guys planning to add some more sewers eventually?

Task Description
Dragging a glyph from an inventory container (e.g. sack or glyph sack) into any slot in Spell Research window causes the glyph to disappear from the container until window is re-opened.
Steps:
- Open Spell Research window from “spellbook”.
- Open glyph sack and drag glyph into any slot in Spell Research window. (Try to use Research or Way slots. Purify Glyph slot only reproducible if right hand has item equipped.)
- Glyph seems to have disappeared from container, but will reappear if window is refreshed.
Additional info: Dragging glyph from glyph sack on the ground to Spell Research slots puts it into inventory. Moving a glyph from inventory into Purify Glyph slot equips the glyph in right hand but does not begin purification. (Not sure if these features are conflicting with spell research.)

In Legacy, moving the camera with the mouse centers the cursor and hides its visibility until the camera movement button is released.
In Unreal, moving the camera with the mouse allows the cursor to visibly move around the screen and stray off the PS window. Fullscreen is not capturing the mouse during non-combat camera movement, so moving camera too far can result in clicking on windows of other applications on another monitor.
Feature request:
Moving camera with mouse buttons to set position of cursor to center of PS window and toggle cursor invisible until mouse button is released.

Task Description
Throughout the GUI, some options are referred to by multiple or misleading names, which can be confusing and make communicating about them difficult.
On the toolbar → ‘Others’ the shortcut bar is labeled “shortcuts”, but editing the shortcuts shows a widget labeled “Macro Editor”. To reach the shortcuts in Settings menu → Controls, you must scroll down to a section labeled “quickbar”. There are a list of 10 shortcuts below, but “quickbar” is not used as a label anywhere else in the game. It would not be evident to a new player that these are related.
Toolbar → ‘Others’ → ‘options’ opens Settings menu. This is less confusing but may confuse some players when trying to navigate GUI. (My suggestion would be to change “Settings” label to “Options” as we also say “settings” to refer to lore, quests, NPCs, etc.)
Toolbar → ‘Character’ → ‘character’ opens the inventory window.

Task Description
There should be a way for players in groups to share quests they are doing. So they could talk with others about them and do them together. All will get the quest complete when they complete the task given by the npc (and maybe a copy of the reward for each one): this could make quest allow players to socialize more. The biggest problems in implementation could be the case in which quests might overlap, the fact players might want to chose the quest they want to share and the variations which could be in dialogs when talking with a group of people versus a single one. The players will get the shared quests added automatically even if they didn’t have them provided they have the correct prerequisites

This is an entirely new class of quests where the person or persons who originally get the quest are asked to form a group to solve some more complicated task or martial challenge. Once the quest is completed each member can then “turn it in” or go to the originating NPC for a reward. This is intended to promote teamwork and to give a more deep and realistic experience to players.

when i start atack enemy that is little away and before i see message he is too away switch (with shortcuts /target nearest /atack) to nearest im in combat mode but dont see any system mesages and not doing any hits- it happend in other situacions too but that i know how to reproduce
its worse to aim enemy , i often see ‘you are to away’ in first try and without move next attack hit enemy correctly

from longer distance pet fail to attack dummy, it hit arena wall and dissaper from very short it attack and start rotating.
