When I craft Small Battle Axes I find that all skill gains are in Blades, Blacksmithing, and Mace making. I feel that somehow the skill gains for Axe making have been replaced by Mace making. That makes it harder to build up axe skill to turn the kits into a finished axe.

Task Description
Once you’ve maxed your stats, currently there’s no more use for progression points/XP. It’s just an endless counter going up and up and up.
How about:
adding PP prices to the money you have to pay in special attack quests? (”Sorry, but you don’t have enough experience to learn this, come back later and I’ll show you how it’s done.”)
having to pay in PP more than in Tria for the temporary knowledge bonuses?
consuming progression points if you craft something with a special modifier (and in turn only allowing you to do so if you have some to spare)?
add more temporary buffs (for example for stats or more directly as bonus HP/MP, increased HP/MP regeneration) that are paid for only in PP or with much lower tria costs.
I am aware that it probably requires quite some additions to the quest scripting and other places and is by no means a trivial change, but I thought it may add to the medium- to long-term development deliberations. To me progression points feel like a loose end, now that they lost their purpose in skill training.

Task Description
Just a Quality of life improvement due to the current setting conflict between weapons that must be equipped to provide a stat bonus and the IC issue with holding weapons in a city. The implementation of this should be a command of /Sheath and /Draw on execution of /Sheath any weapons carried by the player will be re positioned to the characters back or belt and appear to be sheathed. When sheathed the weapons will still be present in the players equipment slots and continue to provide any stat bonuses or other magical effects however the city guards will no longer react to characters as though they have weapons drawn.

Due to the number of enemies with de buffs to strength the problem arises when one of these de buffs occurs in combat and causes a player to become over encumbered. this will almost always result in a 100% chance of death due to the speed at which combat occurs and there being no mechanisms to quickly drop inventory in an emergency situation. The primary counter to this would be spells that either clear the de buff or counter it such as strength. Currently you cannot cast spells while over encumbered and I consider this a unfair and illegitimate restriction that actively prevents players from using the abilities required to counter the de buff and unfairly rendering them unable to defend themselves when this occurs during combat. I would argue the you cant cast spells while sitting and while over encumbered shroud be relaxed or removed because they only serve to ensure a players death due to a combat de buff and serve no reasonable or legitimate game play purpose

Noriko has been doing a lot of quest testing lately, and has found a number of quests where quest notes should be added so that returning players (or those who don’t use their logs) can pick up where they left off. I’ll pass along what she’s put in the petitions to this report.

In each case, the quests notes are very good except when Mirra first gives the quest. The notes only include a generic line about helping Mirra be a better cook, and fail to mention where she’s sent you or what she wants.

Once the player gets the name Shian Sulkin it should probably be added to the quest notes, in case logs aren’t available.

Task Description
It might make sense that an Ynnwn has to crouch in order to get through a Klyros built door, but when Klyros are struggling to pass many doors in their own city, that doesn’t make any sense.
Many doors are too narrow for my Klyros character to pass through. Same holds for some of the decoration, like the kiosks in the market hall with an awning that is too low to look at the wares on the table.
I think 20-30% larger scale would be sufficient to remedy the major trouble spots.

If you take a rare looted item out of a bag, try to equip it, but can’t because of Stat requirements, then train a stat, drop the bag and pick it up again, the item disappears.
Then if you try to store it there are 2 copies, and the server crashes if you store them. Item lost after restart.
Crash and item loss can be avoided if you relog before storing.

Task Description
I had heard that over a skill threshold, repairing weapons/armour does not reduce maximum quality. Yet I repaired a weapon with 201 skill (with jewellery) and dropped from max quality of 200 to 199.
Maybe the Jewellery isn’t working properly, as without it, I would be under the threshold I had heard about.
Also Bones attribute was not removed, the whole reason I repaired it at 197/200.
Maybe this is as intended, but if Bones cannot be removed, then getting a Masterwork Bones Platinum Sword from your first and only run through of the Keen Edge quests (currently not completable) is xtremely bad luck after the time it takes to get 100 in sword (even more in UE).

Task Description
In some quests there is a delay before you can talk to an NPC again. One example of this is Its Gone Bad. In Legacy the players got a message like “You have to wait for 10 minutes before you can continue this quest.” so that they knew what was going on, but in PSU they don’t get the message.
Admittedly, the message is very OOC, but without it there’s no way for a player to know why they cannot proceed with the quest. If the messages cannot be restored, maybe a line of dialog from an NPC saying that they’ll have more to say later?

While preparing Terevan Berry Wine Saauce (as part of Octarch’s Delight) The “Prepare” button picks either mortar and pestle as the container to be used or the wooden bowl, depending on where my character is standing (in Reffitia’s Kitchen).

Once you creating alchemy components which assume various combinations, like Air Essence (cerating Frost Arangma Essence Mix OR rectifying Mix of corroded Riverling Bones) AND you have a “Riverling” set of ingredients in your inventory, the “Check Prerequisites” button displays “Frost Arangma Essence Mix: Missing 1” and “Prepare” button does not appear. Because it is listed first and no further check is happening. My suggestion is to add checkboxes or radio-buttons to recipes like these in order to help “Check Prerequisites” button detect existing set correctly.

Task Description
While sacks and other containers are good for bulk storage, they have the significant drawback of making the inventory harder to navigate, and sorting as well, especially since one can always only have exactly one container window open.
To fix this, one might consider the following ideas:
1) allow any number of container windows to be open, so one can simply put stuff from one container into another, instead of having to put it into the main inventory first.
2) instead, make the container window, once opened, refresh by what container you click on, instead of having to go the rightclick-select-open route
3) instead, make any containers append to the main inventory slot space, but replace the first slot with an image of the container, and clearly separate the appended areas from each other and from the main inventory space by a diferent frame style (could be different for each container type), or at least some additional space. Also, slot spaces that are not provided by a container should remain blank so that a container always starts at the first (second) slot of a fresh line.
When selecting a container, the appropriate window / slot area frame should flash or something so that one sees which container has which window.
4) Let container windows be resizable, and possibly more compact by default.
Mounts
Having each mount have an own (player-accessible) inventory would allow:
1) armor / other enhancement slots for the mount 2) mules that actually are mules, not PCs 3) easier inventory handling
Maybe most of the extra inventory (handling like above) should not come from the mount itself, but from the saddle or whatever one uses on it. Without saddle, there would maybe only be two inventory slots or something.

Task Description
In order for the custom channels to be useful, they need a convenient interface. The need for typing /x before stuff isn’t terribly annoying, but also not terribly convenient. However, the biggest issue is that with multiple such channels, all talk gets mangled into one. The designation for the originating channel doesn’t help much in that case.
Therefore it would be nice to be able to create and assign custom tabs to channels, which would then function just like any of the built-in tabs. It would be even nicer if that arrangement could be stored, which would go very well with the auto-joining of custom channels proposed elsewhere.

Task Description
When I try to select a grill in Brado’s tavern the pink rotating cross does not appear. Right click works and brings up the action icons. However, putting meat in one of the slots and “use” the grill to grill the meat results in “You interrupted your work when you moved away” every time. Other items like preparation tables, pots, etc. work fine.
I’m running PS on: Arch linux ( up to date system ) 86×64 intel core i5 mobility radeon HD5xxx series with up to date catalyst drivers.

Task Description
I would like it if you could set the default reaction to casting a spell or being attacked. I find it quite annoying to automatically be set to fully defensive when I cast a spell. I also find it annoying that when being attacked by a group of mobs your target focus jumps to whichever one hit you last.
When I cast electrotouch I want to hit my opponent and not change my stance. generally whenever I cast anything in melee I want to keep my previous stance. When I am in a pile I want to kill what I am fighting before I start on another one. If I want to fight a different one I can so choose manually. It is also annoying that you often jump to a different mob before you are able to loot what you have just killed.
It would be great if there was a section to set these in the options.
In the case of electrotouch I tried to add /attack normal to my shortcut but it was processed and discarded before the spell finished casting. I appreciate you probably don’t want long chains of commands to be processed in turn as it could lead to botting, otherwise I would ask for one command to finish processing before the next is considered. Still it would be nice to repair all my armor with one keypress instead of 5.
