Task Description
When one kills a Dark Rogue in the BD Mine after having it chase one down towards the main corridor they fall to the ground and then float away. Even after catching up with them one is informed that they are too far away to be looted.
The range seems to be when they are out of range to call for help.

Bug Report | 6352 | No | Engine | Low | Unconfirmed | nobody special | | unexpected container display | 24.03.2014
Task Description
If you have a shortcut to equip an item stored in a container in inventory – for example a book in a bag – the container window is opened up in the process. This is unexpected because you can store or sell such items without said container windows being displayed.
I keep my crafting books in a sack in inventory, my shortcut is: -<shortcut76 name=”Dishes with Fishes” buttonimage=”/planeshift/materials/book_cookingfishes.dds”>
<![CDATA[/dequip mind /use Dishes with Fishes]]>
The same happens with my tool sack - sample shortcut: -<shortcut78 name=”Masher” buttonimage=”/planeshift/materials/masher01a_icon.dds”>
<![CDATA[/dequip righthand /use Masher]]>
If I need to change tools or books in mid craft I do not want to have to reshow whichever crafting container I am using.
low priority, perhaps.

Bug Report | 6372 | No | User Interface | Medium | Unconfirmed | Jon | | Clicking 'OK' on amount window passes through to window... | 28.03.2014
Task Description
When I am moving items out of my inventory and get the window to confirm the number of items to move, if the confirmation window is over another window, clicking the OK button closes the amount window (correctly) but pulls the lower window to the top.
Steps to reproduce: Position the Inventory window such that the left overlaps the middle of another window (e.g. a container). Pick a stack of items from the left inventory window with a left-button click. The Amount window should appear with the "OK" button over the lower window. Click "OK." The items will be picked up but the other window will now be on top of the inventory window.
The click action does not trigger an action in the lower window. If the shortcut window is the lower window, the shortcut under the OK will not be triggered, but the shortcut window will be pulled to the top. This may be related to PS#6251.

Bug Report | 6426 | No | Client start-up | Medium | Unconfirmed | Malunga Leeboo | | Permanent crash on startup after update. | 02.05.2014
Task Description
Hello everyone! I have updated my client on 2014-05-01 via launcher. Now game crashes in a few seconds right after loading the world. I can see environment, but my character is not able to move, chat interface is not accessible. After about 20 seconds game crashes and returns to a launcher window. I have tried to clear cache before starting, but it doesn’t help. Using “elves” interface skin by default, but changing to another (scholar) leads to the same behaviour. There was no such issue before an update, but it was some weeks ago, maybe system updates can cause a problem as well. Creating a new character does not help much: I can walk a few steps and then game crashes. After that there is no chance to proceed playing using a brand new char because it starts up already “broken”. My system is: OS: Russian Fedora Remix 20, 3.8 GB RAM, Intel Core i5 CPU 661@3.33 GHz x 4, OS type 64-bit, Graphics Gallium 0.4 on NVC1, GNOME 3.10.2. Operating system is up to date (all latest updates installed successfully) Update: I have tried to download a new *.run installer, renamed /home/PlaneShift and /home/.PlaneShift and reinstalled client. Same result: the world is loading, I can see my char standing near Harnquist’s blacksmith area, but GUI is frozen and no movement or animation. after a few seconds game crashes back to launcher window.

would be great if we have two alternative way to training repairing: cheap that take longer and faster if we have to spend more cash there are no bonuses for repairing complex items its only based how bad its damaged it seem

Task Description
The Diseased rats improperly apply the raging feaver effect to nearby players who are not interacting with it.
The majority of illnesses carried by rodents require physical contact or a bite to be transmitted and this effect should not be applied to someone simply walking by unless the rat targets and attacks the player directly. additionally since the diseased rats do not attack players unprovoked their AI has no business targeting players with an effect without being in combat
additionally healing potions and or crystal way should remove this effect as it is not a magical curse but rather a mundane sickness
lastly as a minor effect caused by combat with a monster the duration of raging fever lasts far too long for a monster of such a low level as a general rule of MMO's no status debuff caused by a monster should last more than at most 2-3 minutes after the end of a combat encounter and those that do should have easily accessible means of counteracting it such as potions or spells.

Bug Report | 6664 | No | Sound | Medium | Unconfirmed | Joshua | | Instrument White Noise (Lute & Lira) | 06.11.2014 | | 1 |
Task Description
Some of the musical notes, when using the Lute and Lira (drum seems okay), have an annoying white noise in the background. The audio is not clean, and this can be bothersome particularly to people with high-end headphones who may be able to hear it better. I am not sure if this is audible to all players, but it certainly should be to anyone with a good pair of headphones.
Some popping sounds can also be heard.
I am not too knowledgeable on music, so I can’t say which notes specifically have unclean sound, but I think since it can be heard plainly it should be easy to find out.

Task Description
When you are playing a song on an instrument, if you close out of the sheet rather than clicking the stop button, the music will continue to play. This seems to continue until you relog, and opening and using the sheet again doesn’t fix it, it will only make you play two songs at once.
I am not sure if other players hear this or just the player.
In my opinion, X’ing out of the music sheet should work just like the stop button.

Task Description
When there is foggy weather in the game, some 2D textures will have white boxes around them. The most well-known instance where this happens is with the target effect under an NPC’s feet. I think this also affects 2D grass textures like at the magic shop forest. Basically, the fog makes transparency in certain textures visible by making them white.

Bug Report | 6742 | No | Inventory/Items | Medium | Unconfirmed | Mario Rohkrämer | | Login with less than full health | 02.01.2015
Task Description
Logging out after a longer time of idling, one would expect to login with full health later. But I noticed that my health is a little lower and starts regenerating after I logged in. This is especially obvious for characters with not yet maxed stats, appears to be a relative impact.
I wonder if this is caused by buffing armor parts, e.g. Ulbernaut Bracers (+8 Strength, boosting HP too, indirectly). I could imagine that the max. HP are calculated without buffs, and the current health gets limited to this lower maximum (lower than while logging out previously); then the engine loads armor parts after logging in and has to update the HP maximum, which is now higher with buffs, and the current HP get a headroom to fill up.

Task Description
I recently wanted to create a shortcut to summon my Rivnak, but it doesn’t work exactly like it should…Here are the commands of my shortcut :
/dequip leftfinger /equip Ring of Summon Familiar /pet summon Bigadin /dequip leftfinger /equip Crystal Ring
Of course, using the commands one by one in the chat works perfectly. But here is the chat log after using the shortcut :
Usage: /equip [stack count] [slot] [item name] You feel a connection to your familiar. You’ve gained 1 Practice points in Empathy.
Weirdly, it seems that when the last line is executed, my ring is still considered equipped, and so it cannot be equipped. I thought that with another item which exist in several copies, it would work through equipping another copy, but even that do not work. I tried using it with 2 Silver Rings in my inventory (so the line /equip Crystal Ring become /equip Silver Ring), and both when the quality is the same and when it is not (and so it doesn’t stack) :
You feel a connection to your familiar. You’ve gained 1 Practice points in Empathy. This item cannot be equipped.
I hope the informations are sufficient to allow you to understand and solve the problem.
