Your conversation is a sad one, and you should probably feel sad for having it. You aught to keep this in the complaints thread made for it.

Wish list / Re: Drifter's that glide

If there will be any model editing, I think drifters should have a wingspan that makes sense for the weight. The ability to glide over the roof and tree tops will reduce wing-wall combinations from the increased size. And add the animation matching the movement. Mostly just the alterations that make it look like the wings matter.

Ah yes, creating a solution to a feature request that doesn't exist yet. Could you post thread links for those old discussions?

Yeah, too bad there isn't a butchery or dissection skill we could attribute this to.

Considering how many atheists there are in this community, and you're the first one to ask it be changed because you're offended...

You mean fifth one? The definition listed in character creation still isn't the same as the accepted definition, and there are the other missing options discussed.

 This is indeed trolling. Why?

It requires testing, instead of speculation. Although I still think it's going to be the usually rock-paper-scissors set-up, of some varying strength.

I would gladly help with testing if I can ever get the game to work again.

Project wonderful looks like a better idea, since it has the option to trade advertisement space, allowing Plane Shift to be advertised on other sites while it advertises them.

More money = more supplies, advanced computers, etc. Also means that PS gets money. What do you think they use it for? :P Keeping the game up, and new content.

:[ No, there's just a correlation; the only game-improvement causation is when they get around $800+ for another testing computer, which might take care of some bugs for some people. If your talking about content, that would require hiring or supporting someone to do it; buying the time of programmers and artists. These ads will probably make under $100 dollars. Or nothing at all, considering the minimal traffic the site gets.
So although it doesn't do anything to improve the game, it does make it less likely we will lose server space or bandwidth.

Roll a die.
{
1: "Just because you cease to be blind does not mean everything will be revealed to you."

2: "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. (It has many flaws, but it is heartfelt, and gives the right idea.)

3: "What does your robot do, Sam?" "It collects data about the surrounding environment, then discards it and drives into walls."

4: "The problem with trying to make things completely foolproof is that people usually greatly underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Mark Twain

5: "To control others is to control one's self, if not, there is no control."

6: "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, but because we do not dare, things are difficult." - Seneca Maior.

"I don't mean to seem unsympathetic, but I am, so that's how it comes across."
- Marcus Brigstocke
I first saw that as a permutation saying "I don't mean to sound cold, vicious, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out."

Just so no-one forgets, there's already a good thread for normal music, so stick to songs.

Needs a design document; something that details the entire process required for something to be in the game. A method of transfer, too.

Nothing ever pleases Nivm.
Everything has room and fuel to improve.

On a related note, I just found this as the text from bookmark:

It made me smile in place of a giggle.

Come to this↓ place
The server they use is run by Nikodemus, not the PS team. Anyone is free to join the CityContest team at the #planeshift-citycontest channel on the Freenode IRC server.
and start firing your questions. You'll probably figure out how to ask the right ones quickly.

I don't think he's talking about a bonus as the beginning of the game, but instead the level cap becoming dependent on the original values of the statistic. Like if you start with 20 in charisma you might never breach 90, but if you start with 120 intelligence, you'll probably pass 250.

I would also like to note here that level caps should not be completely solid like the earth ground, but more proportional, like a gas giant. So there isn't any specific number where it tells you "you can't advance farther", just a number where it tells you "it will be hard to advance farther", "it will be very hard to advance farther", or "it will be insanely hard to advance farther", and possibly "it will be soul-crushingly hard to advance farther".

Since it's ambiguous, do you really mean a solid iron arrow? Look up information and videos on the "archer's paradox". The shaft needs to be wooden, or something that will bend, to be accurate. If you have a steel arrowhead, deadly (medium-large game) force is still going to destroy your arrow on bones...Among other reasons I should have thought of before, like the arrow shaft being broken after lodging in the wound.

Is your last sentence about strength saying that since people already have such high strength values, that the effect of strength on archery should be minimal? Or are you saying they could all pull the string of any bow back as far as possible? I don't understand you.
