Since when are you an expert on GM issues? Sure looks like "hacking into transmissions from the server" to me.

Since it's traffic coming to you. You are not hacking into anything. If you claim you can't read your own traffic it's some kind of police state your are talking about.

I'm sure it sounded just dandy to whoever wrote it xD

You know, this sort of thing happens when a non-technical person gets the task of writing these things and the tech folks don't really care enough to read what they wrote and correct it.
