Well you have more experiance than me in these matters.

That would make more sense, because if your in a supermaket for example, you dont look at what everyone else is buying - maybe the person standing next to you, if your really that bothered about what type of cat food there picking up.

I have these horrible visions of a runescape filled player screen with people all screaming "SELLING XYZ !!!!! <////> BEST PRICES - NO NOOBS"

Ill repeat what i stated in the other forum.

Would this guide break the rules in regards to information that should be learnt in game.

Random placement once a vein runs out makes sense, one thing that would need to be looked at though would be the random placement of a vein in in accessable places, like under staligtites or buildings, that would need to be prevented.

You forget as well - this is a ROLE PLAY game, and role play is based on real life mechanics

I'm surprised most people are from ages 31 to 45... Kind of creepy.

Don't most people start young? I mean, when you play games when you're a little kid and make up a character, isn't that technically LARPing?

Live Action Role Playing is cool, i attended an event called the gathering a few years back - you get about 6000 people crammed on a field for 4 days with a big battle on the last day - run by an organisation called the lorian trust i think.

As for being creepy - get down girl *slaps her about a bit with a latex sword*

Who you calling creepy - what you got to remember is that RPGS started when we were your age and at that time were generally left in the hands of adults to organise the games. Makes sense that in a role play enviroment that the sons and daughters of gary gygax are found here :)

On flaw - ore doesnt regenerate - once a mine runs out its gone. Well in real life anyway - so i dont agree that rates should change depending on how many people are there.

All that should happen is the more people that are there, the faster to OVER ALL TOTAL resources deplate - as the vien of minerals runs out.

Then we would just have to wait for the developers to plant another resource and we would all have to go prospecting :)

One other thing, eventually you will run out of quests to gain experiance, then it will come down to training and crafting, so the non repeating quest issue is immaterial.

What is the issue is taking due care not to die - the more careful and fearful of the threat of death you are, the more likelyhood honest players and good people will look after themselves and also not abuse the "/die" option, or challenge creatures beyond there capabilities - better to run away and live another day afterall :)

Those quests would have to be reviewed with some form of amulet or protection or cure to the memory loss

The penalty applies to all, and regards the spawn locations you mention, thats just as frustating for anyone no matter what race you are.

Being at the bronze doors and reappearing in hydlaa is no small matter.

I do understand what you mean about dying being hard, but at present the "sit and wait it out" just doesnt justify something so serious.

Well i wouldnt consider dying in the death realm to add to the penalty at all, your already there.

In regards to the other matters be careful then - simple

Death isnt a small matter.
