Mordaan from the explorers used to hold a game of HAGS both in Hydlaa and DR on a friday night but they seemed to have died off recently and i was wondering if i was to host the event and give prizes out to winners would anyone actually be interested?
-
hags doesnt work.
ff7 over for now... sleep. food. wash. learn. party. i like my life >.>
-
Does too, poo-poo head :x
If you'd like to run a HAGS game (hide-and-go-seek for those unfamiliar with the term), go right ahead! It's a ton of fun.
-
I remember doing that once. It'd be nice to do it again.
-
Hmmmm. I wonder how 'Ghost is out tonight' rules would work...... *will have to test some things*
-
indeed is fun karyuu, i remember playing with you, and you found me *shakes fist*
gharan, if you want to host it feel free to do so, I'll gladly help :)
-

First game of HAGS (Hide and go seek) will be set for 10PM GMT Friday the 13th of October
RULES:
1: Tags must be takes off in options
2: You have 2 minutes to hide
3: Boundaries are from north gate to the entrance into East Hydlaa (East Hydlaa is out of bounds)
4: Once caught hiding you beome a seeker
5: First person caught is seeker for next game
-
By tags do you mean the name labels? I'm curious how this would aid the game.
-
The one i took part in down in DR it was to easy to find people due to the tags and we were told to turn them off to make it harder...it was a long time ago thugh, would it take all labels off?
-
Ah, I understand now - sometimes you can hide your character perfectly but the label may be too big and noticeable. The only way to make sure the identity of a hider would just be targeting :] Makes sense.
The option in-game to disable all labels would indeed disable all labels - that counts for characters, NPCs, and items.
-
Sounds good, Gharan. Unfortunately I have to work that night so can't make it but I hope there is a good turnout.
--edit: *gets out calculator* hmm, that might be early enough. I will try to make it for an early game.
(might be appropriate to have a game in the DR on Friday the 13th. )

Appropriate, but darn near impossible to hide somewhere as its so linear.

Oh, we've had some surprisingly good games there. Especially if you are among some creative hiders. :)
-
Hmmm...Yes I suppose... There are a few I can think of off the top of my head to be honest actually.
-
Sorry i couldnt make it last night for a game of HAGS but will be holding the first one the coming friday at 10PM GMT with good prizes for the winners.
