I disagree. They have influence on world affairs, but that's not the same as controlling the world.

Influence ?
They control the wars, they control the banks, they control governments, not much influence there.
Edit: to add, Neocons, is but one of the names the ruling parties go by.

The Rockefellers and others have controlled the banks for hundreds of years. Money changers have two thousand years of history leading up to the current state of affairs with banks. The Neoconservative movement hasn't been around that long.
They don't control the wars except by the will of the people. They use the media and the churches to sway the will of the people, but it isn't always a sure thing.
I watched the first video in the series. It was interesting. The speach by a 1976 Donald Rumsfeld about Soviet Russia felt identical to what he said about Iraq. Too bad it wasn't aired by the major news networks four years ago.

This is a disturbing trend, that power is going from the hands of the people to the hands of the weapons dealer.
There are no more clear foes, so now they've made thier own.
China: May be evil but is one of our greatest allies when it comes to the economy and trading.
Japan: Stands right under us, with a strong booming economy that helps lift our own, our second most powerfull trading partner.
Russia: All up in shams, giving up it's dream of conquest no longer becoming a threat to America
Europe: Now united mostly, under currency and the E.U
With such a peace blossoming during the clinton administration the Neocons decided that they needed a change.
Thus making our new enemies:
Osama bin ladin and his cult
Sadam Hussein and Iraq
Iran(so called dreams of nuclear ambition)
North Korea(a crazed terrorist state with proven Nuclear Weapons)

The only state i consider a real threat is North Korea, But i wouldn't dare invade them becuase they pose no direct threat to us.
Why go around killing innocent people and bombing countries if you don't have to?
We live in an ever changing world my friends.
And Zanzibar is right, we haven't lost all power, and they don't control all the wars yet.
But now is the time to act, and the first step is to spread the Truth, Next comes action.
Take all you have learned here and spread it, then proceed to stop injustice as you see it happen.

The world leaders are all but puppets today, they do as they are told, and no not by the people but by the orginazation of powerfull families.

I saw the word "Illuminati" and I closed the window. My opinion is that, while there are secret organizations out there consisting of people of influence, the problems by and large are systemic in nature.

And i don't know what to say, i don't believe in these huge coverups, although i will admit there are some.

This is my vision on such kind of political part of this rule... Why not just ban trolls?
There are civilized people(That tries to put rational arguments)... and flamers(Offensive language among other examples)... One should not censor topics because of that.
Lets censor everything that may incite a flame war... Including discussions about games, about PS current state(ones may defend PS dev ideas, others may not)... Including everything on this forum(and probably on other forums)!
P.S.: If a mod sees necessity of locking this topic... he will do it... otherwise... no one below them has authority to do it.
P.S. 2: I will trash my forum account or at least ignore the "Hydlaa Plaza", if that is the case.
P.S. 3: Censorship of serious matters should be forbidden to avoid flame wars between against and pro censorship trolls...

There is no censorship. There is only quality control. There is no "freedom of speech" on a privately owned forum also ;) There are privileges. That said, if a topic becomes a heated argument over politics or religion, it'll be forced to cool down. I think this is okay so far.

/me grins. I don't. Most people have no clue what they're talking about, and I'm not willing to dedicate the time to search through all the nonsense and sometimes downright stupidity to try and find that granule of truth that just might be lying behind an opinion...

Mine would be: Everyone must have access to water and food, within a 1 mile range of their home.
Yes i'm a bit socialistic, and i would tax the rich a bit to feed the poor, i mean every modern age government does nowadays, without that, there would be too many revolts, too much starvation.

Government's first and foremost duty is to protect the people and their rights, making them a necessary evil.
