Title: Movement Issues
Post by: Kerbox on February 15, 2007, 10:23:43 pm
Mouse sensitivity is way too slow, the horizontal speed is slow. So walking around and looking around using your mouse is not very awesome. Ok it's in pre-alpha fine but this should have been something that should have been looked into and addressed years ago.

You can increase the sensitivity in the controls menu... but it doesn't help much. I agree that they should have some way to look around faster...

This might also be a symptom of a low framerate...

well, mouslook is actually really bad, especially in first person viev and in PS windowed mode. And i don't think if framerate has much to do there.

Was it not slowed down for a reason?

Was it not slowed down for a reason?

Why? To be incredibly unrealistic?

People can move and look around a lot faster than you can in PS. It's stupid...

I'm pretty sure there was a place you could get to that you weren't ment to get to with it fast.

Aha, so that's how they got there!
I've been wondering about that for ages...

If PS would have a smooth mouselook, I would find it a lot more pleasant to play. I hope it will be fixed soon.

If thats the entrance to the platinum mine you could still get in the exit rather easily not that it matters now with it not existing anymore and all.
