Legion of the Black Sun
Military Organization of the Black Sun Progressist Union
"The dawn of the black sun in the skies
Announces the oblivion of the night
A legion arises as the unborn child
Will slowly awake to its plight."
- The Codex
Preface
Those who prepare better for the time once comes the war always increase their chances of survival. For an organization that involves itself in a wide array of innovative ideas like the Black Sun Progressist Union (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=27043.0), having a dedicated armed force to protect it from the potential threats that may arise in the future and to stand and fight for the cause of freedom even in the darkest hour is critical.
Thus was formed The Legion, based on the principles of the Tactical Independence Doctrine of warfare, putting each militiaman of the Legion as a tactically aware individual, capable of operating without the need of commanders. Thus, unlike any other force, it values individual excellence and independence and creative capability of taking decisions on the fly, as being a militiaman for the cause of liberty is much beyond the act of following orders and swinging a weapon.

Training Program and Principles
Still under development, the training program of the Legion will be based on the principles of the Tactical Independence Doctrine to turn each member into an army of one man from the tactical and strategic perspective.
The Legion principles are freedom, the space for which creativity and inventiveness arises among personal growth, science, a methodic way on wordly matters, focusing on a logical approach and study to solve issues instead of relying on relative and arguable concepts like faith for decision-making, and continual progress, not having any position, hierarchy or anything else stagnated and static, but instead always growing and changing.
