Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Loading World

I load the world...and it freezes. I leave it for bout 15 mins, and its still frozen. Anyway to fix this?

My system specs

-GeForce 6200 Graphics

-512mb

-Broadband

-2.2Ghz

-16-bit Sound Card
