This is great, thanks!  My only comment is that giving each track a different artists makes this kind of a pain to listen to in something like Amarok without re-tagging.  I realize you probably want to give credit where it's due, but I'd consider re-tagging each track with something like "Planeshift Team" as the artist.

welllll, if you're talking about comics in General, Questionable Contents' Marigold has been wearing an xkcd shirt lately.  Also QC and Sam and Fuzzy refer to each other constantly, though maybe only in the text blurb following the comic.

Maybe the ban was reverted cause they're always so much fun?  Generally I get bored after the first page or two though.

Players are always coming and leaving Planeshift as the game grows or changes in ways that does not suit some.  Guilds likewise are also constantly coming and going.  In a way, the new players are what keep the game fresh for us older ones.  There's no need to be passive aggressive, though!  If you can provide constructive criticism, please do so.  If not, then so long, fair thee well, good luck in life and have fun however else you should choose to entertain yourself.  If it strikes your fancy, it might be wise to try Planeshift again in whatever increment of time you choose, to see if it's grown into something that suits you better.

Atheist now as in he fears and respects all of the gods too much to risk alienating any by worshiping the wrong one.  In the future he may turn to Dakkru or Xiosa, though.  I do have a bf alt, but i don't feel like i know enough about the bf to try RP'ing him.

Upgrading to Mesa 7.6 as was suggested to me on IRC fixed the issue.  Thanks!
Sorry for the resurrection but has anyone figured this one out?  I'm having this issue in Gentoo on an HP Pavilion laptop with a 3.2GHz P4, 2GB RAM, and the radeon mobility x600 gpu with 128MB of video RAM.  IInitially , my kernel was not set up right, and I got about 250 fps in glxgears.  Planeshift actually loaded fine but was so slow as to be unplayable.  Then I went in and turned on AGP support and DRI, and now I get about 2000fps in glxgears.  But Planeshift won't load any maps or models (at the character select screen all I see is black, and then it does the sticky curser thing after trying to load the gui--just like Hook's screenie).  The fglrx driver will not support my antiquated chipset. This problem is consistent for both the binary install and my source build. Any ideas?  In case it helps, here are the logs:

Happy birthday Acraig!  It was your help with building the ps client from CVS so many years ago that first encouraged me to stick around :)

i had that problem once in Gentoo and the solution was to eselect set opengl xorg (to create the opengl context i s'pose) and then to set it back to Nvidia (or whatever).  However if direct rendering isn't working that might explain it too  ;)

I've been playing Indiana Jones pinball when I go to the laundromat.  It's really easy to get multi-ball, and I can give it a little bump without it tilting.  Haven't tried any medium sized bumps yet.

Lately, I've been thinking it might be fun to try and write an OSS OpenGL 3D pinball game that can take user-generated machines (skins + variables for bumpers and other components and where they go.)  It's much easier to think about thento  actually start coding...
