Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) /

read the stickies, theres no way people can identify bugs and help you if you just say it crashed 2mins in. we need spesific details and in some cases the nifty diagnostic files that CB offers. also dont feel like youve been cheated if and when it doesnt work after all its an alpha phase still.

Wouldn?t a good solution to bow breaking and being perishable be just making bows cheaper (of course I mean typical bows not uber ones).

Because it?s logical that the process of making a bow is simpler:

[cut tree -> carve bow -> attach string]
Which cost just the knife and use of a spinning wheel

Compared to say a sword

[mine ores -> smelt ores into metal -> forge sword]
which costs a pickaxe, anvil, furnace and a hammer

Ok... its not that simple, but woods cheaper than metal so I win anyhow. Not to mention the balancing effect that archers will also need to buy arrows for their bows which fighters wont ergo swords should cost more.

Ranger, Magerranger not runner and i meant black elf in my portrait if anyone was thinking of doing it. Im fully aware the closest elf in this game is green if not slightly disapointed, but you do what ya do to not get sued.

I know this isnt D&D... but if you read my post i admited that fact in the first line. But this is RP and thats who i like to RP as, if you have a problem with that you probably a hack and slash fan not an RPG fan.

Also mine is an origonal post here as its one of the few thats not an Enkidukai, which speaks for 80% of PS players including you Adeli.

Not to mention that elven is a PS race... why cant i be a black elf?

And i can worship who i like wether they exist or not no game can take away my freedom of beliefs.

Is this just you PS charicter? because if not i prefer to be classed as a Drow, or Dark Elf. But PS didnt give me this option so i went for a kran due to their simaler living conditions underground, not to mention that all other elves are heretics.

White/grey hair
Red eyes
Somewhat skinny but tall
High cheak bones (as elves do)
High muscle to mass ratio (as elves do)
Hands glowing blue like fire
Wearing brown torn shorts

Stuff i would also like

I would like my portrait to encompase a spider theme as the drow are ruled by a spider godess called Lloth.

And the text \'ILHARESSEN ZHAUNIL ALURL\' across the bottem (not a name, its the words \'matron knows best\' in drow).

Hi and welcom to PS

i have the geforce 4 mx 440 in my pc now, except mine is also agp and has 128mb. have you tried the star storm drivers? they come in quality/relighability versions and in my opinion dont screw your systme asmuch as nvidia\'s official drivers.

And please in the future refrain from swearing this is not the place :)

a game called CUBE, its another fps and it has collision AND gravity! its a fast funs fps.

I believe Xordan found it when we wer in IRC a couple weeks back, though im not sure.

[EDIT] I forgrot to metion this is also an open source game from sourceforge.

For that he would need to finish it by adding the biped.. its very anoying to add a biped (need to get evey bone just right) and you\'d prolly have to use more pleases in your request to get him to go through that :p

just do what i do to texture... bung alot of colours onto a .bmp and then scale, stretch and flip the mesh till it looks right :)

windowed is faster.

Also camera mode seems to help me when im suffering low fps i just cycle camera modes to find the fastest in the direction your facing. (relative to how much each direction makes my computer draw)

Newbie tip:

Pressing \'M\' will cylce camera views
