I know you can see your feet in Halo 2. Just an example.

I think its too much like an Ent. I don\'t think creatures should be ripped so directly from other fantasy worlds. (Lord of the Rings, in case you actually didn\'t know.) But then again, we do have intelegent talking \"stone\" characters.

Nah, It\'s just white paper, and a dark photo. I dodged the highlights in photoshop to bring them out more (like on the actual paper) And yes, I know. I have many different pencils, compressed and vine charcole.

Thank you, lights and shadows have always been one thing I have been good at, and working in 3D really helped me hone that skill. I will try to make the arms more defined, I also think the muscle structure doesnt show through like it should. And I will thy your mirroring technique. Ive never heard of that before, and I hope it works.

No, I havnt decided on a background yet, but I am thinking a fence, horses, and a windmill, storm clouds brewing in the sky. what do you think?

Alas, your post came a bit too late. I have already started rendering, and could not change some of the things you pointed out. However, I am very happy with the results so far. I forgot how fun it can be to use good old HB pencils. I did make her neck a little thinner, and up-sized the shotgun a lot. I made her face a lot better looking too, but yeah, the pic was blurry, so you couldn\'t see how bad it was. :P Here\'s an update! I will go over it with a 4B pencil when I\'m closer to done, I just don\'t want it smearing right now. More crits please!

BTW, I will draw my Enki tomorow, havn\'t actually started it yet! Oh and great links! I can never have too many textures!

Most things are shipped in contained envirenments ~60 degrees F. so unless they just set it on your doorstep, it should never get too cold. Not that it would hurt it. In fact, electronic equipment generally work better when cold. It makes things more conductive. As for dead pixels, I have never had one on a LCD screen. I dont know how often they happen, but I don\'t worry about them. I did however have one on my old CRT monitor. But I never noticed it. I don\'t even know how long it was there before I finally did notice it. If the screen you buy has an insanly high resolution, it will be so small it wont affect anything. The only time you really notice them is when the screen is displaying something very bright.

I\'ve decided that I should start posting my WIP\'s, both PS related and not. Basicly I would like to know what people like or dislike about my style and technique, so that I may get better.

This is one of my final projects I am working on for school. I would like some comments and crits before I go any further with it. Mostly I\'m concerned with proportion. Also any tips for drawing faces, \'cause I\'m bad at it, and don\'t have much experience there. And any idea for a background. I have a few, but I would like a fresh mind to throw things at it.

Lastly, I\'m not sure how I sould render it. I have two final projects that need to be drawn, and one MUST be rendered in pencil. The other I will do in Photoshop. So which one? This one, or my Enki character I am going to draw later? Reply people!

You dont really need to, there are a lot of spots where you can get stuck in geometry. The only thing that could fix it is better collision detection, I think.

Yeah, the death realm needs a lot of work... I dont know how to tell you exactly how to get out, just that you need to go off roading. find ways without a path, then drop down onto another catwalk. it looks like you will die again, but I didn\'t. Just be careful around narrow walkways. hope this helps.

\"I don\'t know a single person in the civilised world who buys themselves presents for Christmas.\"

I\'ll be buying many things for other people as well, but I need my tablet and harddrive for school. And for fun as well. Mostly for fun. Mmmmm... uncivilized and having fun...

BTW, how do you add quotes to a post?

I believe there was a fan made map posted in the forums a while back, but I dont know where that is, try the search button. I think there is also a map in the library, however it is very outdated and not of much use.

Yes, another wipe will happen in the future. The game is in pre alpha stages, and many things are being tweaked. Just play the game to meet new people, not to gain stats. That way you cant be dissapointed when a wipe arives!
