I agree with Karyuu that, even if someone doesn\'t RP, they should at least tell someone with a simple \"[Sorry, I\'m not into RPing]\" instead of just ignoring the person, getting upset, or confusing the ever-loving heck outta the RPer.

Though I don\'t think it\'s really necessary to get so upset because of a few bad apples. I mean, even though it\'s supposed to simulate \"real\" life (in a slightly fantasized, medieval, underground sort of way), it is still just a game. nothing to get so worked up about.

if you are, in fact, not participating in RP, or are new to it, and you are getting frustrated from having to tell so many people, set it to a shortcut. easy as 3.14!

Really I don\'t think Karyuu or Seytra has been biting their nails for the last 3 months waiting for your reply on what role play is.  I think it still would have been unanswered if I had not posted a link to it in the Dragon and Trolls thread you made.

Plato\'s philosophy of \"The Cave\".

Imagine you\'re in a cave, facing a huge wall. You are unable to turn left or right or turn around, and so must stare at that wall alone. Behind you is a fire, as bright as can be. Between you and the fire is a tree. The fire\'s light causes the tree to cast a shadow on the wall before you. You call the shadow a \"tree\" because it is all you know, even though the true tree exists just behind you.

Now, take our cave... We have Enkidukai, who resemble cats. Yet we do not know that the ears, fur, and tails even do resemble a cat, since we do not know what a true cat is. Therefore, the cats we think of may be entirely different from the Upper Realm cats. Perhaps what we call a cat is, to the Upper Realm, a goat. Or perhaps we have it right. How can we tell? We can\'t.

And so, in theory, we can add anything to Planeshift and call it anything we\'d like, since we are our own seperate world, uninfluenced by any Upper Realm or outer source.


I have no idea what I just said, but I felt like I needed to say it. Perhaps someone out there needs it... like, maybe they forgot to study for a Philosophy test or something and it will help in some obscure way.

I\'ve just made some warm milk and cinnamon. It\'s not bad at all!

To make it, get a microwaveable mug and fill it with some milk. warm it up in the microwave for a bit so it\'s nice and hot, but not too hot. add some cinnamon and stir it. the cinnamon will clump together to make small circles on the top, but it shouldn\'t be lumpy and should remain smooth when you drink it. let it sit for a bit to cool down to a warm temperature and enjoy!

It has a smooth texture and is excellent at calming people down. It\'s not very sweet, but some sugar will remedy that quickly. All in all, I quite like it and may make it again sometime.

Yeah, I know, I\'ll try nearly any drink. I\'ve actually made catnip tea and dandilion tea before. ^_^
