Guilds Forum / Re: [Guild] The Felicitous Fenkis
« on: September 27, 2006, 07:42:13 pm »
After wandering in the forbidden lands for over a year and a half, I finally found my way back to the enki homeland, and the first that I encountered was this fenki. Offering her friendship and guidence she helped me to find some of my old friends who I was beginning to believe had also been lost. For this the Lady Herah will always have my friendship and protection.
May many good and glorious days shine upon you and your guild.

I have updated and changed a few things about the guild. Nothing major, but have added a Craft house to the ranks.

I have been away for a long while, but the CrystalWarriors have always remained in my heart and thoughts.
The activity level may have slowed down but we are not dead and gone. We still roam the wild and hunt the unjust. Recuitment has begun again.
If you are interested, go to the site and leave a message. Or seek out one of the members online.

CrystalWarriors will be as strong as ever, believe that.

I would hate to come upon that by myself.

It is always sad when a respected and long-lived guild has to disband, but the history of it will remain. I know you will not need my best wishes in finding a new home, but I wish it to you anyways.
May fortune smile on you.

Also, at beginning, try to find a single rat to beat on, if other monsters are around, they will find you when you least expect it.
You can also lead your rat away to a safer area to kill it, but the robust rat is deadly, he will hurt you even when you get strong.
Just pick your enemies carefully until you can train up some.

I loved that, as a maintence chief in the service many years ago, I know how some people can report problems and those solutions are great.

I am still laughing.

I am sure there will be enough dwarf popuation to support a dwarf guild, if it is handled correctly. You have an interesting story to start on and I see nothing wrong with taking it one step at a time. However, I do think you could edit your first post to contain all the information and not scatter it around the topic, that would make it much easier to see what you are about.
I wish you the best and hope to see you ingame often.

Many words of wisdom have I seen here, and many thoughts have been manifested. The one I hold dearest is expressed by the thought of being IC is not what you say, but what emotion that is put into it.
How you react to something, what it means to you, not the language you use, seems more important to me. I fare not well with the high language, so will hardly ever try to use it. However, that does not mean that I am dimwitted, nor does it mean that I resent those that speak in such a manner.
I am not RP a well educated noble, but a warrior that has been well-traveled and seen many things, has had to deal with the strange as well as the mighty, but proper language was not a high priority with me, just the ability to understand and muddle my way through.

Draklar, your post will help many who wish to know this high language, and for that you deserve thanks, but try to understand that not all will speak in such a manner, because it is not their nature to do so. I hope next time we meet, you will return my greeting.

This comment is just IMHO:

The dueling on the plaza can be annoying at times, true, I agree on this, but I am also guilty of doing it at times. However, I believe that once the Death Realm carrys a penaty for dying, then the dueling will only be to settle some form of argument or disagreement, and plaza killing and mayhem will be much less than it is now.
The arena should be the place for duels, and should also be the place for training. It is set up nicely for it except for a few missing things. It has many rooms that could be used for multi-group battles, and rooms that could be used as a training area for new players to practice in and learn the basics of combat. It has stands that overlook the different rooms for the spectators that want to watch.
I hope to see the Death Realm one day set up to have multiple spawn portals, portals that are located in different areas of the Death Realm, portals that will lead to different spawn points. Having to find your way to the portal you want should be difficult, but not impossible, just hard enough to make you think twice about dying. Of course, like I said, this is just my opinion.
