Hi all, i'm just curious... When I went to register to become a 3d modeler/texturer I was directed to a website that had my info and assignments.
Now, I can't find that site again, could someone give me the link please?

it took me a while to figure this out, but if you hold / and press \\ you\'ll auto run. and actually run.

But i agree, there should be a button to toggle running for when you\'re trotting around in a dungeon, i often forget that i\'m auto running and try to stop by pressing back, but keep on a runnin\'. That should be another change in their future, pressing back to stop auto run, rather than \\ .

I think we should reflect on how you dialogue with NPCs in everquest. they talk and talk, but put vital information that you should repeat; or put into your sentance/question in brackets.
an Example:

Player: hello

NPC: hello, i am name name. i am looking for my [lost book]

Player: \"lost book?\" or \"what lost book?\" or simply \"lost book\"

NPC: Yes, i was fishing one day at the [docks] and i did not notice it was gone until i got home.

Player: What docks?

NPC: the docks near the inn, will you help me [retrieve my book]?

Player: Yes, i will retrieve your book.

NPC: Thank you, I will look forward to seeing you and my book again very soon.

A nice compromise between the people that want to click, and the administration that wants to keep typable dialogue am i right? As well as clearing up such unneccesary confusion.

(edit) and while we\'re on the subject, i believe you should add a quickbutton to greet an NPC and begin dialogue, a hail, or greet button. just a neat little idea :)

ok, here\'s another clue. When i tried opening the file Planeshift main server.zip my winrar could not open it because it was unknown or damaged. as well as localhost.zip and updater.zip

although repos.zip opened just fine.

hope this helps to solve this problem.

Yeah, i got confronted about my name by a Game master just as i was finishing the quest, she said it was broken (the quest).

I understand that there\'s a need for common items, so i suppose i can lend a hand at some things. i\'ve no clue what polygon restrictions there are, so i\'ll just estimate.

I started playing just fine on wednesday the 9th. and played with no major problems nearly through the night.

and only just recently got this message in the update window:

server has another updater, going to fetch it..
updating updater to another build
*red* couldn\'t connect to mirror laanx!
trying mirror planeshift main server...
*red* Mirror\'s repository is unparseable
trying mirror local host..

after trying to re-install the program I was not able to re-download the patch. and so now i\'m surfing and searching for a possible solution, but i\'m not getting anything.

P.S. I am running on windows XP, incase that helps.
