It wasnt hard for me to pick up on this game, though the guide isnt that detailed just spend an hour exploring and you should know pretty much everything there is to know about the first zone.

Yeah.. I have been wondering something like this for a while. I didn\'t really know about the rat invasion or anything, all i knew is that when i upgraded versions half the rats I trained on (in the sewers) no longer had spawns. So of course I searched around and found around 8 gobbles that spawn in the same place and some other stuff..But they dont have drops so i am doomed poor! -.-

We would need your hardware/specs in order to determine what your problem is, though your question is rediculous.

yeah.. training axe, sword or melee cost around 50 trias, training things such as strength or stamina cost much more...(i think)
        There is a great system for telling how much training/pp you need for the next level in a skill (if you havent already figured it out)...The small blue bar is how much Progression Points you have, the yellow bar is how much you need to gain the next level, as you train using pp the yellow bar will slowely become green bit by bit and at the point when it is all green, you will have gained a level in that skill.

I hope I have been helpful but try to figure some stuff out yourselff too..it can be fun.  :]

You should first start by fighting rats at defensive, no matter what race or class you are, you would benifite the most and fastes by upgraded either melee, sword or axe skills depending on what you weild. Continue to fight rats and when you get stronger and fight rogues etc I suggest you fight on defensive because they cant touch you on that setting.

Too much like runescape. And that game is foolish. I prefer, rather then having repeats of weapons using different metals they should be just totally differen weapons and like magical/blessed weapons. Plus, who ever heard of a bronze sword O_O;

Any sort of \"invisible boundaries\" limit both the freedom of the player, and the realism of the world. For places like the Death Realm, people should just be more careful. It\'s not hard to just stay on the path. :)

Well it is actually pretty hard for mac users because the path is pitch black and so is the backround of the death realm. But I think its good that we have a level of realism here and you dont just bounce back to a random place. (plus its funny when i am walking around near the pub and all of a sudden someone falls from the sky next to my feet and dies ;)  )

Ok before I start this post, I would like you to understand that this is in no way a complaint, but rather an idea that would make this game more fun for me personally.

Ok, I know the reason why most (emphasis on not ALL people) people play MMOs and RPGs is because the mild addictive factor of getting more \'exp\' and advancing as you go through the game to become stronger, but when I play MMOs, I play, not to roleplay, or to train on large rats for hours to become stronger, but I play to explore and see new things that are interesting and exciting. So, inconclusion, it would be great if rather than focusing totally on more skills and things (though they are cool), how about a little more attention on new maps and areas to explore? Not that programmers and the 3d graphics team aren\'t doing enough.. more of a small thought to take into concideration.

Ok..I have no idea what you are saying, you should be more spacific if you want attention. One what? for example..and knowing how to use a mac as in double click on folders and open them is not the kind of help programmers need -.- If you actually are good in a field of programming you should prove it by saying something that sounds intelligent ><;

Newbie Help (Start Here) / Low FPS in the plaza?
« on: April 25, 2005, 09:16:42 pm »
Just a suggestion to the newbies out there, after three days of playing the planeshift game I have always been anoyed by the extremely low fps in the plaza, I know I should upgrade my ram/graphics card but for now I just press M to get it into overhead view so all I see is my character and the ground, sure its hard to see where your going but if you ask me it is better than 5 fps.
