plane shift client, setup, and updater wont open. the dos window pops up and then closes like it should, but nothing happens after that. it should open the login screen. my computer is a compaq presario, os is windows xp home edition, i have 580 MB of ram, and the cpu is intel celeron 2.80 GHz. my graphics card is intel extreme graphics and i just got the latest driver for it and ive run the updater on planeshift (it opens and runs in the dos window).

how do i set the cel environment variable? planeshift wont work at all; i think this may be the problem.

i put it on my other computer it was able to get to the account login screen but it was too slow to run the game.

was at my friends house and we downloaded planshift and burned it onto a cd; I took it to my house and installed it on my copputer... and it doesnt work! I tried reistalling it 2 or 3 times and it didnt work... When I try to launch planeshift the dos window opens then closes but nothing happens after that. I\'ve searched the forums for a solution but I couldn\'t find one. Can anyone help me?

when i try to open the client the dos window opens but nothing is displayed in it and then it closes. nothing happens after that not even an error message.

i got the updater to work but the client wont work the dos window opens but the login window never opens after that.

i already ran the updater and it ran the updater in the dos window. i was at my friends house playing it and the updater had a different window... and i still cant start the game

ok that solved my updater problem but the client and setup still dont open when i put --auto after them.

every time i try to open planeshift client, updater, or setup the dos window opens and closes but nothing comes up after that. is this a bug? is there any way to fix it?
