Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game /
« on: August 23, 2005, 03:09:58 pm »
Many, many thanks guys...

I took the effort and checked if the latest drivers was what I really had, and lo and behold, I had some generic Windoze stuff... So I installed the latest Omega drivers following yuour advice and voila, it runs great...

Thanks much. See you in game, perhaps.

You may actually be right, after I switched from Win 98 to XP also Mu stopped working...

Did you enable full-screen mode?

Edit: You can try to disable sound in PS, this will speed up your performance a bit.

It\'s not the configuration... The SETUP ITSELF works terribly...

That\'s weird... The game runs terribly. While creating my character, I clicked on an option, than waited, than the screen flashed and then I had results - and I am speaking only of chosing a race, gender or just anything! The game itself runs even worse, at a speed of 1 frame per 5 seconds... What the hell?

My computer perhaps is not the best in the world, but I\'m sure it doesn\'t justify such bad performance: PIII 1000MHz, 512 MB SDRam, connection 128 kbps (through cable TV), graphic card: ATI RadeOn 9200 SE 128 MB. I\'m using Windows XP.

The weirdest thing is that the game seems to be running \"in the background\" - for example, the Windows bottom bar (the one which has the Start button etc.) doesn\'t disappear and is always present.

Please help...
