Same error here, and my race is that of a Stonebreaker. The error is as follows (which everyone has seen so far, but just posting to verify that it is more than a singular incident):

Aborted

That is the message I am getting with the -verbose output.  I have noticed that something similar is happening in the windows client, but can\'t be sure if it is the same error. Seems to stem from this section of code: SetDRData

Could we please have one of the devs check into this to either verify or disagree with this assumption.

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game /

Have you tried the information in this thread yet: http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=20045&boardid=17&sid=024fe0c33b749c3ae2b6cec03d1647a5
if not, then I would also check the router settings (if you are using one), check to make sure that the ports are open in the router, also check to see if you can connect if your computer is put in the DMZ. Sounds like it is a router configuration issue. Double check the router first.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) /
« on: September 12, 2005, 05:53:16 pm »
I don\'t know what all is happening, but I do know that the random windows, and such are still going on. About a week ago, everything was working as usual, then it all started getting laggy, with random windows, and rogues that weren\'t there all of a sudden on top of you, that were hitting you but you were \'too far away to attack\'. I know that thanks to the server problems, that my wife lost out on a dagger and sword that she was selling to another player, but when they clicked \'Accept Trade\' the tria came to her, but the weapons that she was selling to the other player just vanished. She gave the player his tria back, but now is out of the weapons. I understand and accept the version of the game and all, but there has got to be a way to fix it.
Just my thoughts.
