Those I played with in community would recognize me. Was around pretty much from the start of PS. Was my home for many of years. It's fine if you don't recognise me because SUPRISE ""who the hell are you?" lol

  Wow, still kicking around bilbous? Good stuff and good to a familiar face. Just stopped in for a hello. You are correct thread wasn't around ten years, I was. I didn't start using forums for first few years of playing planeshift. The I signed up and well you know the history. lol My first fight on PS forums is in the kittens are cute thread Zanzibar started. Oh good times.

Hey there LigH! Yup, she still exists. We miss this place and remember our fond memories and friends made. Funny how years later I am telling my daughter (was a baby when I started and is 13 now) of the stories that we wrote here and the friends her father (Stronith) and I made. Tried to put into words the magic that took place here. That's why I eneded up here last night, looking for my old stories and community stories written together to show her.

Why thank you LigH! I very much appreciate the happy birthday wishes. I, as a matter of fact did have strawberry shortcake for my birthday cake and as always it was amazing.  Yes, some things never change. I fear this thread has become more of a post count for LigH than a thread for birthday wishes!  *runs before he throws something at her

  My pup used to sleep with me but she grew up in these past few months and is very particular about having her own bed. I don't mind, especially taking into consideration she's a huge bed hog!

What is the weirdest thing you will ever admit to having done in the past?

there is a way that just need 23 quests done in order to get winch access... most of them are very easy to do... it took my alt two days of questing in order to get a rivnak...

  It's not THAT easy! Believe me,  I had the determination and time a couple of weeks ago. I found my experience to be not pleasant. Quite confusing and not easy to follow. I am sure if I had not taken a three year break, I would be up to speed and know where to find the answers, so I am humbled to be able to see this from a newbie point of view. 

I used my quest book to keep track of the NPC's instructions to the quests they gave me. I marked which quest linked to which and that is how I discovered that my quest to acquire the rivnak was broken. The NPC that should have a certain option for me to chose, did not provide that option. I tried the lawful way. I decided since that way was broken, I could go the shady way. Not so, as I have a quest now broken there too. I'm not entirely sure at this point what to do. 

I like Bilbous idea. There needs to be a system in place to help the gamer understand where they are at with their quests.

To be honest, if I hadn't seen Zorbel's name in the thread, I would even have done more than look at the main forum page.

Thanks Illysia, it is very humbling to be remembered. This place was once like a home to me.

After spending time in game after a three year break, I'm pretty sure I can come to an idea of what happened to the RPing community. It has been overly discussed I am sure and I probably have nothing new to add.

  I do have voice these thoughts of mine though. The only regret that I have is when I was in a position of power to promote RP for this game, I felt my hands were tied.  I was never able to prosper and thrive as the RPing Gm I knew I could be. This part of the project (I felt) had no direction and judging by how many are on board now .... well, must be the same ol' system. It bothers me to know how close Talad was to having a very well put together GM team, both for the technical side of the game and the RPing side. Unfortunately, those hardcore RPing GM's burnt out because we put all we had into our RPs and events. The process was just to slow. Frustration eventually wears down even the most patient of us.

Hopefully, PlaneShift will see RPer's to the volume it was, again someday. Hopefully old mistakes can be fixed to house the new body of PlaneShifters.

  To those of you who made this game for me back then and lurk behind the forums once and awhile, Thanks! I have some pretty awesome memories here. I will ALWAYS be a fan of this place.
