I Have gotten stuck, so i can not move at all, not eaven rotate, i would give a screen shot, but it does not look like that is posible in the forums.  I got to this area, when walking down a path in the dark HELP!!

I just saw that after i submited


This may be completly unrelaited, but i do have this error come up every time i load ps right befor the game opens.  I was able to get a quick screenshot
it says:

Warning: Could not load plugin \'crystalspace.sndsys.manager\'

Not knowing much about the code, but that sounds kind of like the server communication manager, but i could be wrong

rename your log to psclient.txt.bak then create a new file called psclient.txt in notepad. Run the update util start the program attempt the char gen and see if you get the messages in your log


Just an idea

I think those are froma faulty load, otherwise there would be multiple of those same entries.  Also i do not have those errors, and i have the same problems

i am suprised we have not had a post from a mod yet.
Karyuu is on right now. maby they are waiting for acraig to look into this, because it looks server realited, and he is one of the head programers. He also takes care of most server end problems.

The lighiting error i think is relaited to the view of your char and has no real effect

The GUI is fine, all the the graphics are loaded, and the ones that are currently implimented are working correctly.  The Next button is active for the fallowing reasons:
IF you do not select a race the next button informs you
IF you do not select a name the next button informs you
Also a signal is sent to there server, because the activity light blinks when you click next, so the problem almost has to be on there server.

Good Ideas though.

I was watching my network lights, when i noticed that the activity light for my node blinks when i click the next button.  This tells me that the info to move on is sent, but the server is eather: Not responding, Not sending, or my router is blocking the communications port.  The latter seems odd and unlikly, because the server has authenticated my user name as password, when i log on.  Could a mod or programer tell me what the comunication ports are, because i have already tryed 7777, but that has no effect.  I hope that this helps.

I just downloaded it about 1 hour ago and i get stuck not being able to click next.
