The mushroom thing sortta started as a hobby...but with almost 80 in her bag, harlohim's somewhat proud (well, after her recent psychotic episode I'm not sure how she views her fungi-friends...but they do still remain on sale)

80 mushrooms! <.<   >.>
What is the price? I know a certain barkeep that may have an intrest in dried mushrooms.....and pickle brine.
the price is currently "make an offer" largely because she has no idea of how much people would want to pay for them

@vialick: My suggestion would be to meet some new people instead of pickin gup mushrooms and waiting for thoose you always walk around with, you can meet me any time if you want, Peacer is always up for a chat which makes pl'ing quite hard :P. And people giving you rat parts telling you where to sell them because you are not in a guild is a bit... umm i can't find a word for it but maybe they are bein the noobs XD.

Indeed. Such as one would never be foolish enough to think of Verrliit as a noob. She has probably had offers from almost every guild, including mine, all of which have been turned down. I judge noobishness by the way the person plays, how they act, if they use proper ooc/ic dividing with brackets for ooc...
I do wish it were allways that way. I mean it's nice that people try to help those that they assume to be n00bs, though I've found that after a few times of having people trying to give you rat parts and telling you to sell them to merchants that it gets a tad offensive.

Vialick if you ever are bored and want to roleplay and I am avalible I would more than love to. I find it keeps my interest in PS to meet new people and create stories with them. See you around Yliakum.
believe me, I do intend to take you up on that offer.

Oh, and I do believe I may not have worded my inital post very well. I generally don't find it boring, but it is quite easy to get bored, especially when it's quiet, and everyone who's on is just wanting to level up or do who knows what...

Vialik, If you see me in game feel free to approach me, I'm not a snob , just busy sometimes, I will be more than happy show you what I meant in my last post.
Snob is a bit too harsh, I suppose the problem is that people tend to be busy at the same time.

I find it's quite easy to get bored while in PS. When there's hardly anyone on, and everyone that is on is snobbing your character or making it impossable for them to be in the same room/area (Harlohim recently has been snobbed out of several things recently) and you end up walking around. You try to talk to people but the're not interrested. Your character doesn't believe in PvP and mining is a bore.

so what's left?

gathering mushrooms while reading wikipedia and hoping one of your friends comes online, or a person that can stand the boredom of mining gold will stop by and start talking to you.

I don't think it's as simple as learning to roleplay, my characters are allways themselves (even the one I started but didn't really enjoy too much). I've found that many people jump to a conclusion of "she isn't in a guild, so she must be a n00b" while totally missing the beer mug and full leather armour (which takes a person a while to get unless the're a really good beggar) and not thinking that she may not be in a guild by choice (have had a fair few offers, though turned them all down)

That beanius, I wonder what he would have done without me. *shakes her head and giggles* [she doesn't understand the reality of war, thinking it's some game that's fun to watch]

[ooc]
HAHAHAHA, that was so much fun. there were a great many monty python refferences (which have since been removed) which added even more. Oh, and to people who may not have known, the first line about smelling "pack mates" was an attempt to explain to beanius why the dwarves were all gathering around him violently in words he would understand.

Hmm

I have an autographed copy of tankt's "despair ltd"
and a few kids books I think

I could have got my Ikon, Novakill, and Angeltheory CDs autographed, but it seemed a bit innappropriate (I was stage manager at a gig the three bands played)

Did anyone mention Front 242 yet?

http://www.front242.com/
I was thinking about putting front 242 in just a few hours ago...perhaps I have some sort of psychic link with the intaweb (which would explain quite a lot)

I\'m looking for some heavy techno type music, preferably with no lyrics. Something with a loud, heavy, consistant beat to erg and run to. Know of anything?

Skinny Puppy hands down.  You won't get anything heavier.
Amen to skinny puppy

*pulls out rivet gun and starts working on forehead and eyelids*

*cuts off hand*

*bleeds on canvas*

*dies for art*
*openly says how much you're ripping off the real masters and have not a shed of original creativity*

*in secret really likes it, and is jealous that you thought of it first*

Now, if you don't mind vocals there's more:

Neuroticfish
VNV Nation
Covenant
Icon of Coil
Snakeskin
Haujobb
:wumpscut:
Angelspit
Despair

And heaps more actually...

Hmm...well most of what I know is EBM/powernoise/Drum n Bass (or more preferably Drum n Noise)/psytrance...I'll recomend a few

Winterkalte
Alec Empire (though a lot of his stuff has lyrics)
Imminent Starvation
Converter
Venetian Snares
Infected Mushroom
Juno Reactor
Implant
Black Lung

A lot of EBM artists have done some great tracks with minimum lyrics that sound like they would fit in well with what you want:

Covenant - One world, one sky
Lights of Euphoria - One Nation (I've only heard the club mix though)
Lux Voltaire - Dollbuster
VNV Nation - Savior
Kirlian Camera - K-Pax
