I downloaded the new (version 0.3.013) client via bittorrent and intalled it after uninstalling the previous version. I\'ve run it several times under a variety of circumstances...including wifi vs. dial-up, firewall vs. none, antivirus software on vs. off...I\'m really out of options...I did download the new updator as well, although it just says it can\'t connect to any of the mirrors and also reports no ping with the fragnetics server...(just to be clear I\'m sure I have the right [windows] version of the game)

the only time I did manage to connect to the server was a few days ago before the 0.3.013 client came out...although I only had a few minutes before I had to get off and didn\'t even succeed at creating a character.

I have windows xp and I\'m using the one under the windows column...during one of redownloads of the file my connection dropped and the download was fooled into thinking it was done...this partial file for some reason actually was recognized as an application but was of course unuseable. The files are all saved as a .012[1] document instead of a .exe if that provides you with any insight. (I did try to change the file type but it\'s between that and the all files selection)

Update: I managed to just change the document type manually by just editing the file name. So it\'s working now...
