Make sure you don\'t have some sort of NAT/firewall blocking a necessary port for your torrent client. Mirror #1 now works also, at least over here.

I\'m having a problem with the .exe file. The icon it gives me is unknown to my computer and so it won\'t initialize...anyidea whta could be wrong?

Hiya,

Make sure you\'re downloading the file that is meant for your operating system. So if you\'re on Windows, make sure you\'re clicking on the download under the Windows section and not the Mac or Linux binary, and etc. If you\'re on a Mac, you should be downloading the .dmg, and if you\'re on Windows, ensure that your downloaded file is named \"PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012.exe\".

I have windows xp and I\'m using the one under the windows column...during one of redownloads of the file my connection dropped and the download was fooled into thinking it was done...this partial file for some reason actually was recognized as an application but was of course unuseable. The files are all saved as a .012[1] document instead of a .exe if that provides you with any insight. (I did try to change the file type but it\'s between that and the all files selection)

Update: I managed to just change the document type manually by just editing the file name. So it\'s working now...

I can answer this one as I recently downloaded the program with the same problem.  The link that is provided is dead (no longer hooks up to the original host who initiated the upload, or there are no longer any other hosts active that were part of that particular up/download).

Solution:  Do a search in bittorrent for PlaneShift and click on any that are active (they will have green text and show how many hosts/users are working with the file).

Hope this helps.
