No, this is the temple

no thats a -kran- temple of talad, not the Yliakum temple of talad, thats just conceptual art.

Here's one:

Where's the temple of Talad going to be located? Since the Laanx temple is in Hydlaa, the capital of Yliakum, where is Talad going to have room to build his temple?

It is my understanding from the story line, that that large tower by the gates is/was the temple of talad, but was forgotten when the Laanx's followers came in.

you only need the three core rulebooks to enjoy them, if you don't feel like commiting to it jsut yet, I would suggest finding torrents, however they are most un usefull in more advanced dnd games, so yea buying them is much better than torrents, just get a torrent to decide if you want the book

for a starter, stragiht up D&D is good, if you desire more beyond that work your way into whitewolf's games, they're very very roleplay intesive

i've played all of the above, mage is my all-time-favorite (go figure)

as for mechs, the best i've seen is d20 future, its actually awesome and i'm starting a group for it locally now

mech playing wise, its just a chracter with more hp, guns, and whatever else you build onto the mech, basicly n d20 futurem technology can make an underexperienced charcter hardcore, which makes sence.

'Ere it is funny you is sayin' that coz I woz finkin' ov dooin that mesel' reet?
Please stop talking like that, it's difficult to have to translate you. you're not supposed to role-play on the forums.

Sorry fer' 'avin a 'magination thur feller! why don' ye go see if ol' yeller 'ead can buy ye one?
I have an Imatagination, I just don't use it the same way as you. I've often been told by people I have an incredible imagination. I just don't feel like using it when it makes it difficult for people to understand you....

then skip the post

Guilds Forum / Arcane Order, Dead for good
« on: July 09, 2006, 07:51:17 am »
Druke sits in his study, contemplating the fate of the order, his weekly reports fail to come in, one by one his servants vanish. Hunched over his desk, he writes one final letter

Avenger, I'm afraid we've failed in our mission, though our days were indeed glorious, our hopes of a complete order of magic have failed, gone with the wind. I am having my last servant burnt he arcane vault and all its collected information, as there is no one left to guard it. Alas i fear this may also be the last fo my days, I can't do this alone and the struggle to survive has left it's mark on me. Wherever you are, good luck to you, and if my messenger fails to deliver this message to its recipiant, let them know that the AO has died, and the tower lay in ruins.

Druke seals the letter with a mixture of blood and wax, and then gives it to the servent who reports the burning had started, he sends the messenger on his way, giving him a few glyphs for the road.

the servant parts

Druke heads to the top of the tower, where he pulls he's old staff, the staff of the brown master, and begins to summon a terrestial tremor

the rest as they say, is history

Well as the topic says, Arcane Order is officially (though it really doesn't need to be announced, as its a given) Dead.

It was a good life, and we had a great communtiy in our days, sorry to see this slip away, als what is Druke without the Arcane Order? So at the same time I am retiring Druke, do I ahve a second alias? who knows... Does it matter, Druke is Dead and the legacy of the AO ends.

Good night Hydlaa, it was most excellent! ;)
